Wednesday, November 15, 2017 -God's Word

As Keith explains in our continued series, "God's Word", we make following Christ burdensome. So often, we take our eyes off Jesus and do not rest in Him or follow the leading of the Spirit. In the gospel of Matthew, we see Jesus' burden is light and His yolk is easy if we will link up and lean into Him. Jesus wants to carry our weight and have us rest in Him. When we are following the Holy Spirit and become totally reliant on Christ, we are not working on our own; we are working with Christ.  Matthew 11 Keith Wilson, Youth Pastor
