Wednesday of the 14th Week of Ordinary Time

Today's readings explore what it looks like to turn back toward God after drifting away. Hosea speaks to a people whose prosperity led them to forget the source of their blessings, calling them to break new ground and seek the Lord again. Then Matthew shows Jesus gathering his twelve and sending them out with that same urgent message: the Kingdom of Heaven is near.
