Wednesday Review: Why Do People Write and Sing Love Songs? - Pour Out Our Hearts in Praise - It’s Our Need!

from Free Range Preacher on Prayer · host Fred

If you bet, Fred couldn’t get sappy love songs, Englebert Humperdink, Casey Stengel, and Psalm 24 into a Wednesday review… You lost! Like all things in Christ, we come full circle. We learn to pray in the same way we learned to talk and for the same reasons. We were born physically with the drive and need to talk - communicate.  We were born-again with the drive to pray to our Savior - commune. We were born with a need to express who we are inside. We have been born-again, and our souls need to express who we are to God. We were also born with a need to express our love and admiration for others. We are born-again for the express purpose of trumpeting our love and worship for our worthy God. Full circle, even in our great need, our prayers will accomplish our ultimate end (reason) and purpose of prayer... The Glory of God. Pray it, you know you want to… Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
