Wee LaF for the September 11 Weekend - LaF 77

The Weekend Entertainment Edition of LaF is back with another episode. September 11th sees the release of three new movies. The L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames are previewing all of them on episode 77. First, opening on more than 2,800 screens, is The Visit directed by M. Night Shyamalan, who seeks to rescue his career by going back to his roots in horror. In the film, two young children fear something is very wrong with their grandparents after they are made to go and visit them. Also, in wide release, is 90 Minutes in Heaven starring Kate Bosworth and Hayden Christensen. Based on the novel by Don Piper, a man comes back to life after being pronounced dead for an hour and a half; he claims to have seen Heaven. The final film to get previewed is the PG-13 thriller The Perfect Guy starring Sanaa Lathan, Michael Ealy, and Morris Chestnut. When a professional woman gets involved with a man who seems too good to be true....things go very badly. If you go to the theaters, then let LaF know.
