Washington Commanders training camp Week 1 gave the first real upward trends, led by Jayden Daniels settling the offense and Rasul Douglas making ball production feel real. Daniels protected the football, operated with more command and helped the first-team offense close the week with better rhythm after the defense started ahead. Douglas kept showing up around the ball, while Odafe Oweh’s pressure and Nick Cross’ catch-point work helped Daronte Jones’ defense disrupt timing.
