Week 1- Troy

Rio Hondo Prep hosts the Troy Warriors in their home opener at Kare Park on the last Friday of August. A high temperature is expected at game time and both teams are fueled up with anticipation for a rematch of the Division 5 Quarterfinal from last season. Our special guest is Troy Head Coach Mike Echaves who is in his 10th year leading the Warriors from Fullerton. We discuss his program's identity and the biggest lessons he's learned during his coaching career. Both head coaches could not have more respect for one another and you can all but guarantee that this fight will surely go the distance with two teams that are ready to do major battle on the gridiron.
