Week 3: Joshua From Failure to Restoration Hidden sin can topple an army

Though many ignore Old Testament scriptures, when you examine them as God's word, you will find that much of what is written there not only points to the very times in which we live, but is also very relevant to, and should be applied to, our lives today. Hidden sin can topple an army; one honest confession can restore a nation. Joshua 7–8 show the hard path from private failure to public renewal: confession, correction, strategy under God, then worshipful recommitment. If your ministry, family, or workplace is stuck, don’t chase clever fixes, instead inspect the attic, name the leak, and lead with truth. Joshua mourned, God exposed the spoil, the people removed it, then God gave victory and Joshua read the law on Mount Ebal. Start the hard work today: confess, correct, plan under God, then celebrate with Scripture.
