Week 3 Preview

Week 3 of high school football is here, and Emily Cochran and Robert Ristaneo are breaking down the biggest matchups across the Gulf Coast! This week, we take a closer look at Gulf Shores at Saraland in Hustlin Hal’s Game, where the Dolphins will try to snap the Spartans’ 41-game home winning streak — the longest active streak in Alabama. Then it’s Vigor at Orange Beach in the Eastern Shore Toyota Game of the Week, before Mobile Christian visits Cottage Hill Christian for our Big Friday Kickoff Game — a rivalry reborn following Alabama high school football’s public-private split. Plus, we’re running through the entire Week 3 slate — breaking down every matchup from Class 1A through 6A, along with Private Single-A and Double-A. Who has the edge? Which teams have something to prove? And what should you be watching for under the Friday night lights?
