Week 5 Cash Games with Charles Sears

from The Big D Podcast

In this episode, DFS expert Charles Sears and I talk about our favorite Week 5 Cash plays. First, we talk our favorite quarterbacks. Charles likes Daniel Jones at $6,000. Jones is coming off a 400-yard passing effort next week and offers upside in a potential shootout against the Dallas Cowboys. I really like New England Patriots rookie Mac Jones or San Francisco's young passer Trey Lance. I really like Mac's consistent passing and Lance's rushing upside in his first NFL start. To running back, I start with my favorite running back play in Titans star Derrick Henry. With his workload and facing the Jaguars defense, I think Henry could smash on Sunday. Charles asks me on my view of Charles star Austin Ekeler. I also explain why two Florida rushers, Jacksonville's James Robinson and Tampa's Leonard Fournette, could be lined up for big days on Sunday. At receiver, we both agree Davonte Adams is the easy cash play with his target share in the Green Bay Packers offense. Charles even wants to stack Adams and Aaron Jones in cash. We look at Cowboy receivers Amari Cooper and Ceedee Lamb within $100 of each other against the Giants. Charles prefers taking the running backs with Cooper's rib injury. I also bring up Bucs receiver Antonio Brown at $5,200 with several potential targers against the Miami Dolphins. Chargers receiver Keenan Allen also attracts some attention at $6,500. With no Travis Kelce this week, Charles will look elsewhere for his cash tight end. We really like Ricky Seals-Jones as a punt play at the minimum $2,500. We also mention Jared Cook and Evan Engram. At defense, we both like saving some money with the Washington Football Team at just $2,300. We also look at more expensive defenses.
