Let's talk Georgia. Let's talk LSU I watched LSU Florida back again last night And I'm really worried about their inability to get to the passer with four guys and with from I just feel like he's good enough to be able to pick you apart when you can't pressure him Is that the biggest weakness for LSU as a defense? Maybe maybe if Caleb on chase on to the go down early in the season against Miami We might be having that conversation, but I still think they have some dudes up front And I think that's one of the reasons that you see Them sort of mix and match what they do from a pressure perspective, but pressure It's not usually six seven eight guys. They usually stick with a four-man pressure But it's some kind of a blitz game, but just not bringing as many rushers It's what they had a lot of success doing against Auburn They only before rushers one time against Auburn.
That's a trigger blitz laying the game But you'll see Devin White do it because he's good at he's guy who can sort of make people mess and he's a guy who can get up Building Jacob Phillips another guy that has the speed to be able to rest the passer and do different things So here's the tricky part of that is Georgia finishes the game against Vanderbilt last week The senior center to first your offensive lineman and to second your offensive lineman So however you want to mix it up to freshman red sir freshman and true sophomore whatever, but to first year to second your guy They had trouble in one-on-ones and pass pro against Tennessee They had trouble picking up blitz practice against Vanderbilt So where the advantage comes for Jim Cheney is how much he loves to attack the perimeter and Georgia has so many weapons this year But it's just gonna be an onslaught out on the edge How do you handle it? How much can you make you run? How tired did you get and then they'll try to attack you in the middle field a little bit later But to counter that Dave Iran is gonna be able to bring guys like great Dump it even greedy Williams and these corners come up and play physical football They don't mind tackling so I think again kind of similar to that Auburn matchup earlier in the year Where does they ever random want to try to win the numbers game? Does he take his chances?
Maybe in some main coverage bring extra guys to the line of scrimmage try to bring pressure packages to the plate close to the line of scrimmage Out on the perimeter try to take away the quick throws and not make much of his defense run outside on a regular basis So that chess match will absolutely decide this game in my opinion a lot of that'll be how much of it Listen, you guys all make him like back at guard for Georgia You're gonna practice this week probably be ready to go that'll help But it's still a very young and somewhat inexperienced group so being in bad ruse and I mean kids to play there Let's not forget that not one person on the storage roster played in bad roots and they don't know the personnel that will that makes a big difference So that I think that matchup is without a doubt one of more intriguing ones to watch because I think on the other side They're it's there are some advantages on both ways, but that's the one that decides the game I agree Do you think the potential biggest advantage could be for Georgia if in when they bring in Justin Fields his ability to run Really might be able to create some some problems for the LC defense, you know bear I'm trying so hard not to fall into the trap that I did last year and I saw how Alabama built their scheme last year I knew what they were doing with Jalen hurts, and I knew it was working and I didn't see any reason to rock up Oh now we all know what to it is just a completely different conversation But in reference to that scene Justin Fields up close and personal last weekend being on the sideline You just can't help to think wow, and if you're gonna have protection in past pro like they've had the last You know some issues there it was past protection the last few weeks Why not have a guy that can make you right when you're wrong sometimes and Justin feels can do that now you weigh the differences right now And Jake from brings accuracy. He brings the ability to manipulate play action the RPO game I do think takes a bit of the better option right now, but you're right and in a local way the Kirby smart stated He said this guy does not have a package. We are training him to be an elite college quarterback That's it nothing else. There's no there's no other master's and he's a go next to that There's no other way to describe it where he is being trained to be an elite college QB So the more I watch it the more I see what he's capable of doing You just can't help but think does he give them the better option down the road and maybe just a game where he has to have More snaps to potentially help the George office a little bit more Cool I was I've been reading some awesome stories about the 98 game the 0 4 game and you know that's you see you played in it at Auburn And you get to play George every year But this feels like the rivalry that you know, I had to say it being corny and using the word dudes But when I think of George and LSU man, it's just like pros everywhere is is this the is this the game?
We don't get enough of like when you think about the SEC in the crossover games is this the game? We don't get enough of I think probably this one and then Alabama Florida even though we've gotten that one a lot of the SCC game Yeah, those would be the first two that come to mind because it kind of feels like we've gotten Auburn Florida a lot Like I know I played him twice and he had a Damon Duvall game where like the he kicks the game winning field goal in the wind pushes it Like literally 13 yards to the right ball to the middle of the air and it goes through and cover to get that We're just burrier so I feel like we've actually gotten that one some but yeah This is the one that it feel like we almost never get because you go back to the pro program That was Alabama Florida the SEC championship game kind of offset that one a little bit And then you had Sean Alexander down in the swamp going crazy against that team and breaking that streak But this is the one that I just feel like we almost never see and you're right There's gonna be enough out guys all over the place littered all over the field. So I'm excited about it What do you think? I definitely like LSU Here's what I like about him on office They can still run the ball me still in the offensive lines had a move up guys around But George's front is not what it was a year ago now They're athletic and they got some guys to move around in their quick twitch But they don't have to unack into the middle and obviously not a real quants They're just not as heavy-handed as they were as you go So if you're talking about the LSU off just standing up and throwing punches then I think I wish you might have an advantage because they can run Joe burrow and add an extra block to that foster Rose But an excellent blocker for those guys this year they can play big blue ball So I think bro set bump around with a little bit of Joe burrow in the crown add some tight ends in there So quick easy throws burrow gets back and not making the big mistake But keep it last year he absolutely can keep them in this game We've got seven ranked teams on the road this week against an unwrank team Excluding Colorado was a touch-and-hundred-dog in the game. We've got South Florida Tulsa, Miami, Virginia, Florida at Vandy UCF in Memphis, Texas A&M in South Carolina West Virginia Iowa State which of those six do you think is in the most jeopardy of being upset? This hurts so bad because I've got West Virginia to play off the court season and I'm so proud of myself even get to this point They're still undefeated now granted the It's probably good for me that they didn't play that was not against the state might be the second best team in the ACC right now Mmm either them or Miami, but this Iowa State team David came up and run the football I mean that's just bottom line for they are they play a physical brand of ball that West Virginia is not capable of playing and When you run that three three-stack defense you tend to play a little more high risk against the run that opens up some cutback lanes And we saw here's what I like about West Virginia You saw Wilkrear makes a mistake last week and they were able to overcome that's to me kind of a sign of good team That shows me that you still can go in and not play your best ball your best player doesn't play his best game You find a way to win a great it's not against quality opponent, but they found a way to win So if Wilkrear's on and he's lighting it up and he's hitting his targets and they're protecting then they'll be fine I think it'll be okay But because of what David Montgomery and Matt Campbell can do to the pace of this game and the temple of this game and probably limit The amount of touches that Wilkrear's gonna get I would Be the scariest game of a ranked team going down to an unwrank team that you ran through very good Uh, I'm trying to get people mad here. Maybe get some Twitter mentions for you here I like doing this if Kentucky played Florida tomorrow in Atlanta who are you picking?
Florida Here's the thing I really do like this Kentucky football you call the first game correct? I did I like them a whole lot because they know who they are they know There's so many football teams across this country They go out every Saturday and try to be something that they were something that they're not and something that they just flat out Can't not be Kentucky just cannot be accused of that they know who they are they play to who they are and I think they did get Away from it a little bit early last week. I thought 80 Graham maybe put a little bit too much of that game point in the hands of Terry Wilson But that's a good for seven that's a scene and brings to the table Florida's on the verge of having an elite front seven. Your kai-polei is playing big boy ball Jabari Zoonica is playing big boy ball CC Jefferson's back.
Remember they didn't have Jefferson or David Reese and I can suck you game David Reese is back at inside linebacker. Joseph's playing really good ball in sideline backer Chauncey Garner Johnson all over the place at that rover position And now you got a legit group of athletes with a d coordinator that is absolutely unlocking the cage and just releasing the hounds every game And that's a scary place to be when you got that kind of speed that kind of quick That's that kind of athleticism and you know, they're gonna come after you now Can they play straight up on every down? Not necessarily and I do think it's up on some ways to move the football on the ground But it would take another big performance for Terry Wilson for them to find a way to win it I think what you would see is you would probably see Felipe Frank's have a better game the second time around He played a little too high risk the first time and Dan just flat out got away from the run game in the first half I think George Garlin had five carries in the first half against Kentucky the first time around they do that again And whether it's P Ryan's garlic whoever they're gonna They're gonna try and force the run game a little bit more in round two and especially on a neutral site You know not a big advantage for Kentucky being at home We've no lessons against though. I would probably lean Florida and that game It's starting to look like 75 is where we're headed down at Auburn Until I see something drastically different on offense and this is this is an offensive line That's not playing good football and this is an offense that is predicated on a downhill running effect And that downhill running attack leads to the play action which leads to some of the window dressing which leads to some of the shot down The field which leads to some of the quarterback options stuff which leads to conflict defenders Which opens up space and when you don't have that part of your office going you can't build or attach everything else around it So if they're gonna keep banging their heads against the wall trying to be a downhill run team I just don't see it happening.
It's not something that's just going to happen The strength of that offense to me our wide receiver in quarterback So it's gonna have to be quick ball distribution run the football through the air We sit up defenses. We kind of like that Dan Mullen game planning a specific state a few weeks ago I mean sit there and just wall that group asleep Sighline the sideline the sideline the sideline the sideline and then they started going out of like and I think that's kind of what Auburn Just gonna have to be and then take you a couple shots down the field when you till you get a good matchup But until they do that I just I think you'll still continue to see this inconsistency It was pretty obvious the defense is frustrating. I don't blame them. I was on the team.
We went three and eight 1998 had a top ten defense those who did not like us very much But that defense can keep them in any game if they're playing at high level But you keep going three now you put them in bad spots. They're not gonna be able to help you keep you in that game I hear you all right. We're gonna get you out here on a two-parter. Okay, you mentioned you're in a little rock or favor Little rock.

Bama mazoo is gonna have more points, especially especially with things going out It was one of their corners and they've been suspect to give up some yards and points already this season Drew locks and numbers the last two games have not been good But obviously playing against Georgia playing in that weather in South Carolina is part of it the other part of it It's drops now. Maybe ball tempo something.
He has to change a little bit He can't write for balls in from four five yards away But he's been putting the ball where his receivers should be able to make catches So I think he'll continue to do that in touch Calusa the run game's been going well Missouri mixes and matches their run schemes It's good as anybody I think they'll be able to use some visual deception out of my back or seven out of position Some salt last week with Titan screen against Arkansas Listen all this can score but you go to the LSU game and that'll show you that also not score now Arkansas doesn't bring the kind of defense that LSU does but getting drink green law back was huge for them a couple weeks ago They've got Randy Ramsey on the edge we're telling the game inside now you got drink green law back I think John Davis is finding a little bit of consistency on that side of the ball to work with where they might be able to slow Ole Miss down a little bit and then offensively I think I'm worse like maybe two weeks ago kind of step to the side And say you know what we've got all these tight ends around here I know I don't really like using them. I don't normally use them, but we gotta get them involved We got all these six five six seven tight ends Let's just start using something out and I think our king point gives them a little bit of a one-two punch into more explosion That's out of the backfield so high stories their quarterback. They're not juggling guys around Arkansas's finding a little bit of consistency I think they can have success against a terrible Ole Miss defense those two won't score as much as Alabama Missouri But you'll probably see a lot of it in both of them is Alabama score 60 If they want to yes Man it feels like every week it's crazy. I looked at last year because I thought this was the game where it all turned around what it is a Two-in-foot now This is how different these two teams are okay because I'm taking BC here last year a two-in-four BC team went to Lamar Jackson in Louisville And won 45 42 that was the coming out party for Dylan that was everything and that turned the whole season around for BC You flip the script here Louisville looks like they want no piece of anything So they go from that one to play against the option to now find like line up against the dude running Another physical and I don't care if Dylan plays.
I really don't I just think this is a team that wants it against a team That doesn't want any more part of it. Give me BC minus 13. I also like to over in this game It's only at 57 and a half. I think I think the winner easily scores 35 plus I'll take Washington.
