from A Good Talk Spoiled Golf Podcast · host A Good Talk Spoiled

On the show this week, we review the wonderfully entertaining 144th Open Championship from The Home of Golf, St. Andrews in Scotland, which was won by Zach Johnson by one stroke after the four hole playoff, defeating Oosthuizen and Leishman on the historic links. We talk about a momentous day in the golfing life of James as he had his first hole in one on the 156 yard Par 3 7th in Glen of the Downs Golf Club. We have a quick review of the action from the Tours. On The LPGA Tour, The Marathon Classic was won by Chella Choi and on The PGA Tour, Scott Piercy won the Barbasol Championship. To wrap up, we look forward to the events on the main Tours this week. On The LPGA Tour, it's the Meijer LPGA Classic, the golden oldies head to Sunningdale for The Senior Open Championship, The European Tour mixes mountains with golf for the Omega European Masters from Crans Montana in the Swiss Alps and on The PGA Tour, they head up to The Great White North for the RBC Canadian Open.
