Week 92: In Times of Temptation

Send us Fan MailFirst-century Jews believed that Jesus was going to be a strong, powerful military leader. This believed this because of the way that many passages of the Old Testament describe the coming prophet/king. After he performed the miracle of feeding the 5,000, the people were ready to make him their leader who would overthrow the oppression.
