Dr. Klapper continues his theme of the power of hair! Guest Jason Schneidman is a hairstylist who discusses the power of hair with Doc. They begin with the writers of "Hair" describing how long hair became a symbol of protest against the Vietnam War. Jason discusses how hair has always been a way for people to make an outwardly statement of their selves. Jason speaks of how he beat drugs and became a hairstylist who believes in the motto "if you look good, you feel good" to start a service of haircuts for the homeless. He combines his knowledge of recovery and hairstyling to help people overcome drugs and believe in themselves. It is amazing how much a simple haircut can change the life of a homeless person. His salon is in Venice on Lincoln Blvd and is called The Men's Groomer Shop. Doc also takes calls from listeners and gives them his advice through "Klapper Vision".
