Tucker was a 19-year-old Clemson University student who died in 2014 after joining fraternity members and pledges on an early-morning run. His body was later found beneath the Highway 93 bridge over Lake Hartwell. More than a decade later, questions remain about exactly what happened that morning. In this conversation, I sit down with Tucker's mother, Cindy Hipps, to remember the young man behind the headlines. Cindy shares memories of her son, talks about the impact his death has had on her family, and explains why she has devoted so much of her life to raising awareness about the dangers of hazing.
