Highlights of 12th September '22 Fundamental Weekly Podcast- Both Sensex and Nifty gained 1.7% over the past week. The markets were buoyed by falling crude oil prices and a decline in domestic bond yields.- August exports, at $33 bn, contracted by 1.1% YoY, while August imports, at $61.7 bn, increased by 37% YoY.- FII have been net buyers in September so far to the tune of Rs. 3,837.56 crore.- FIIs flows are expected to remain volatile in the near term on the back of monetary tightening, rising inflation, and geo-political concerns.- Any meaningful fall in crude oil prices will be positive for Indian economy.- PICK OF THE WEEK – CESC. BUY TARGET - Rs. 100. CESC reported strong headline growth (28% YoY) primarily on the back of higher unit sales. Lower effective tax rate of 17% helped in boosting PAT growth (+5.5% YoY).
