HSD and OHSU are partnering to provide several family COVID-19 vaccine clinics over the coming months. Congratulations are in order for Laura Nicholas, 4th grade teacher at Ladd Acres Elementary School. After being nominated by a parent in the spring for her outstanding efforts during what was a very challenging year, FOX 12 and the Oregon Freemasons awarded her the Classroom of the Month award for November 2021. The award includes both an interview between Laura and reporter Stephanie Kralevich, featured on Good Day Oregon (air date TBD, but will be posted here), and a fulfilled $1,000 Amazon Wish List for her classroom. www.hsd.k12.or.us
