Reckless love? Some would dare to say, and have even said that God's love for humanity is reckless. What an incorrect and blasphemous statement if there ever was one. Recklessness denotes the idea of one who has not thought or does not care about the consequences of their decisions or actions, and the effect they will have on others. Rather than being thoughtless and impulsive, God was clear in conscienceness and methodical in His plans for humanity. God extended His love in such a way that the gift He gave cost Him everything for the salvation of humanity (John 3:15, ESV). It was agape love that He had for humanity that caused Him to give the world such a great gift. The gift, His Son, can be seen throughout human history dating back to the day God placed punishment upon Adam, Eve, and the serpent (Genesis 3:15, ESV). God's love is responsible, full of compassion, and care, so it therefore cannot be considered reckless. Those who would consider God's love in such a manner could have not possibly opened the gift that He gave to the world. Instead of calling it reckless, it should be called planned love, unconditional love, or responsible love.

Questions From The Pew - WOS World Outspoken “Questions From The Pew” is just that, a forum for discussion on the issues that are ruminating in the minds of church-goers, but that are often not raised from the pulpit. We’re here to address the intersection of our culture and the church, which is made incarnate by the folks who populate church pews every Sunday across the nation. We see a prime importance in actively identifying the very potent challenges that arise when a Christian steps into the real world, a place which abounds in diverse cultures, perspectives and ideologies. Here, no inquiry is off limits. If God is willing to engage with every aspect of our humanity, certainly we, as Christians, should not be afraid to run that gambit either. It may be tough, reconciling a millennias old value system, within our 21s t century culture, but here at, “Questions From The Pew”, we believe in creativity within orthodoxy. Not only can we identify the questions that arise from our culture, but we can readily engage with them in Anointed Radio Sports Anointed Radio Sports Anointed Radio Network is a new Las Vegas Christian Radio Station that is bringing a platform for all Christian’s to come and share about their businesses or talents.
