WEEKLY UPDATE #49

Hello dear Friends, this week, the German commissioner against antisemitism, Felix Klein, said that Jews - for their own sake - ought better not to wear a kippah on the streets of Germany. In response, next to sharply criticizing Klein, the large national newspaper BILD printed the image of a kippah and called on readers to cut out and wear the printed kippah. An even stronger, more public statement is participation in a March of Life, like last Sunday in Plauen, the birthplace of the Hitler Youth movement and the Nazi girls' organization, that has recently seen large Nazi marches and demonstrations.
