I had horrible acne as a teenager, I tried proactive, I tried noxema, I've done pills, pads, wipes, creams, washes, masks, you name it. Nothing seemed to help. It just got worse. Then my mom says, ''Alright, this isn’t working. Nix all the treatments, let's get back to basics. Square one. Basic hygiene, how are you washing your face?” With some trial and error we figured out that my breakouts all over my torso were from residues left by bath products. Namely, my conditioner. It leaves a film of conditioner all over you, so make sure you shampoo and condition first, then gently wash the residues from your skin.An electric razor works for men and women. You can still have a razor, for when you need it, but it's so much faster and easier to just run an electric razor over armpit hair real fast as part of a regular routine than it is to bother with the shaving cream.If you experience foot odor, try bleach. I've never had a problem with foot odor, but my brother had such horrible feet that he wouldn't take his shoes off. Not even for bed. My mom found the solution, she filled a bucket with water and a generous amount of bleach and had him soak for five or ten minutes, dumped baking soda in his shoes, and put them in a garbage sack and shook the hell out of them, and, presto! Foot funk gone. Now he does it about every other week.This is gross, but if you have tonsils you may be struggling with bad breath from tonsil stones. They form inside of tonsils and tend to smell awful. You can get rid of them manually (finger, q tip, etc) and you prevent them by gargling regularly. They are harmless and come out on their own, eventually, but they stink in the meantime. Also, brush your tongue every time you brush your teeth! Try a tongue scraper if you must know exactly why it's necessary. The first time I used one I was shocked and disgusted. I actually snapped at my boyfriend for kissing me with all that in my mouth, the sicko. He was the one who got me the tongue scraper.
