Blair got revenge on Delbarton, and each of the reporters also tells you which wrestlers you should buy stock in now. 0:00: An update from Old Bridge, where girls wrestler Adriana Maria sustained a serious spinal injury last Saturday, reporting severe neck pain. A GoFundMe has been set up to help with medical expenses and her recovery. 4:15: Recapping last week's action, including the top two teams in the Shore Conference going at it as Christian Brothers dominated Southern. CBA is at a different level compared to everyone else in the Shore Conference. And is the gap getting larger between Non-Public schools and public schools? 8:50: Delbarton and Blair went at it, and Blair got its revenge after losing to Delbarton last season. Does this end Delbarton's quest to finish No. 1 in the country, and if Blair was an NJSIAA school, would they get all 14 weight classes to Boardwalk Hall? 12:35: South Jersey had a strong week, with standout performances by Kingsway, Lower Cape May and St. Augustine. LCM is really good and is only getting better. Delsea is still the favorite in Group 3 and LCM can win a state title this year. There's belief they can give South Jersey two state champs. 17:30: The power points cutoff is this weekend, and right now, there could be some interesting matchups, including Southern and Howell meeting in a sectional semifinal in South, Group 5. And South, Group 1 is open and Central, Group 1 is another potentially intriguing section and North 1, Group 3 is pound-for-pound one of the top sections to keep an eye on. Kittatinny extended its season in North 1, Group 1. 31:10: There were a couple of wrestling oddities that happened last week, including one match going to criteria nine, which was Lenape Valley and Mountain Lakes. Colts Neck won two matches via penalty points. 36:05: Updated individual ranks are out. Not many changes, but there are some significant returners, including Jojo Burke from St. Joseph (Mont.), who comes in at No. 2 at 120. St. Peter's Prep's Laudan Henry is also back from injury at 144. 44:15: There are a handful of wrestlers that you should buy stock in now, including Bergen Catholic's Anthony Riotto, St. Augustine's Casey Pekula, Caldwell's Solomon Sorriente, Seton Hall Prep's Rocco Salerno and Rumson-Fair Haven's Wyatt Fry. 54:35: It's a big week coming up because of the power points cutoff, but some other top matchups on deck, including CBA taking on St. Peter's Prep in a matchup between the No. 2 and No. 3 teams in the state.
