In July 2021 after years of struggling with his weight Tim took the decision to have gastric sleeve surgery, a life changing surgery.Tim has always had an unhealthy relationship with food and this was impacting on his health, at 43 years old he hit rock bottom. With the support from his family, he decided on gastric sleeve surgery (VSG). Tim is open and honest about his struggles with yo-yo dieting, the lack of support for men with weight issues and how he is now working on a life that he has control over.Tim has an Instagram page detailing his journey, @becomingtinytim_vsg on one of his pre-op posts he says he’s another step closer to the next stage in his life.
