Ich freue mich sehr, meine Weihnachtsfolge mit drei Gästen verbracht zu haben, die mich das ganze Jahr über begleitet haben - auf ganz unterschiedlichste Art und Weise. Aki Bosse begleitet mich ohnehin schon seit vielen Jahren und dieses Jahr ist sein neuntes Album erschienen: Es ist fantastisch und es geht ums Träumen. Außerdem habe ich viele Morgende mit ihm verbracht, wenn wir in aller Frühe beim Hundespaziergang telefoniert haben. Nina Chuba war mein erster Gast in 2023 und hat durch ihre Verletzlichkeit und ihre Offenheit in unserem Gespräch für mich wirklich eine Tür geöffnet im Hotel Matze, durch die, über das Jahr verteilt, dann auch einige andere gegangen sind. Ihr Debüt-Album Glas habe ich in den letzten 12 Monaten rauf und runter gehört. Daniel Schreibers “Allein” ist das Buch, was ich am häufigsten verschenkt habe in meinem Leben. Gerade ist sein neues Buch “Zeit der Verluste” erschienen - ein sehr trauriges und gleichzeitig sehr schönes Buch: Eine Kombination, wie sie meiner Meinung nach nur Daniel Schreiber hinkriegt. Zum Ende dieses Jahres wollte ich gemeinsam auf das Jahr zurückschauen: Aber nicht auf das große Weltgeschehen, sondern auf persönliche Momente. Dafür habe ich Fragen auf Zetteln notiert und diese Zettel in die Mitte gelegt, damit wir nacheinander aus diesem Stapel ziehen und uns die Fragen gegenseitig stellen können. Ich habe in diesem Gespräch wahnsinnig viel über meine Gäste gelernt und auch einiges über mich.
