Hello everybody and welcome to a brand new episode of Weird Adventures in Space. I am Regime June. It's a new name, by the way. If you haven't figured it out, go online.

And this is Weird Adventures in Space episode 15. Weird Adventures in Space is the SHU podcast premiere super hero sci-fi real play podcast. I will be a GM, which means I am in control of the story and the narrator, but I will be seeing a little bit of that power to the dice. So everyone's probably rolling some dice in order to figure out what is going on.

Before we start telling you stories and believe me, we got a doozy for you today, I would like to introduce the cast. Hello. That's me, you're Juzal. I have a fever.

A fever. A fever. For space. Hey, I'm Logan.

And I'm gonna be playing in a keynote. Hi, I'm Rob. I'm playing Shyam. Hello, I'm Zack.

I will be playing early today. Hi, I'm Bailey. And I will be playing Lotus. Hi, I'm Tony.

I played Greg. Last episode of Weird Adventures in Space, our crew was investigating a dangerous space cult. Is the Church of the Father good for anything? It seems not.

They're taking over a casino on Mars. They seem to be tied to several questionable crimes. Not to mention several pillars of bone being erected across the universe, buddy, this is not just a church as our crew is finding out. And you're about to find that too.

In episode 15, send my prayers into the heart of the pyre. This episode starts on Earth, Wayfarer, Kerry, and Arlu. You've all landed off of your space shuttle into the beautiful city of Levis Harbor. Levis Harbor is a small mid-sized city on the coast down in south.

You came in over some beautiful blue water, green trees, golden sand. As you come in, you get a communique on your headset that there has been a prison break on Mercury. Hetty-sigh. Wayfarer, you especially have like several notices with an exclamation point on your list of things to do.

One of those notices is to contact you to add when you get the opportunity. Okay, I should probably do that then. Do you want to step aside for the call? You're gonna take it in front of everyone.

That's a good one for everyone. I'm not scared of her. Finally picks up the call and she goes, hello Al? Yeah.

Hey, I just wanted to call you within four on the prison break so you all didn't drop everything and take off. Okay. Apparently one of the four G-ons in there, this miniature sun just exploded with a force of several nuclear reactors. Seems bad.

Yeah, it's bad. It's bad. Unfortunately for us, their house right next to Orbodove, and a micro-sized crack in the Furman allowed her to slip out. From what we can tell, the 4-G-on, also known as Skelemisters, is missing from the prison along with Orbodove and Boson, but there's no reason to believe they're related.

Security camera shows that Boson and Orbodove left maybe 10 minutes after the 4-G-on did. Okay. Do we need to send somebody there to take a look? We've got a team there already.

I mean, we're doing what we can. Everyone else has been secured, everyone else is safe. That cell of Orbodove should have been airtight. She had to have been the size of a goddamn molecule to get out of there.

Oh, I hate that thing you wanted. Just be on the watch. We don't know what the 4-G-on wants, but it's sentient and it's still moving. Okay.

I guess thank you for letting us know. Yeah, of course. You'll get a notice if she starts tracking near Earth or near Mars, but until then just hold tight and I'm holding down the fort here with the main team. Okay.

Thank you. You're dead. Oh, and now? Yeah.

Feel free to share as much of this with your team as you need. I want transparency as much as we can. Cool. But I mean, you got a job to do.

You're the one that's delete. I don't want to tell you what to do. I think I can handle that. Okay.

She clicks. All right. I will reiterate the call to everybody. Yes.

If they're covering that, I'm kind of feeling like with that weird skeleton son lady out, probably want to poof it and go talk to people sooner than later because I have a feeling she's going to be up with some shit soon. Oh, yeah. That's all the church needs is a martyr. Yeah, I don't think that we need to either.

I think the church has had several murders. Martyr, not murder. Oh. It's a term on Earth churches for somebody who dies for the church to prove their faith.

Yeah, it's bad. I hate those people. They're annoying. Arleigh, this is very reminiscent of you of how people treat you in the bottled city.

Yeah, it's annoying. We are supposed to go to the beach, right? Right. Girls said she would meet you at the beach in Lake West Harbor at around a certain time, which is like maybe 30, 45 minutes away.

Hey, if right girl has to pay for several copies of the same outfit, I can understand why she's a criminal. And I'm assuming you get changed to go to the beach or no? Just looking to way far. Are we supposed to put bathing suits on?

Are we still technically on clock? I'm going to walk up in my outfit. I want to look up a terrible stereotype beach thing that Arleigh would have seen on TV. She's got a large beach hat.

The little so wrong thing that like wraps her under waist. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Make up not just sandals. Wait for her. Do you have a bathing suit outfit here? Oh, go try to find my stash.

I have like a change of clothing in every town because stuff happens. What is in your stash? I'm going to put in my own paint balloons. They're vintage.

The ones that look like overalls but are also yoga pants? Yes. Do you have sunglasses? I don't know.

Arleigh does. They're big and they're fat. What about sunscreen? Do you wear sunscreen?

Yeah, of course. That's good. You at least got the big white nose full of zinc sunscreen. Yeah, UAV, UAV.

I got all the UVs in there. And Carrie, do you have a beach outfit or are you just going wearing jeans? I was very confused and didn't realize this is what we were supposed to do. So I scrambled in the airport.

Which is where those rash guard shirts are in like a pair of really like baggy looking dude sports shorts. You just look like you're a pro surfer. I like it. You eventually get to the beach.

It's a beach on the south end of Lake Visharva. It's beautiful white and gold glittering sand. Wonderful day. 78 waters like 68.

You do see Riot Girl, which is pretty hard to miss. She's playing a volleyball game with herself. That sounds so fun. And when she sees Wayfair, she immediately recognizes him and invites him over.

So do you come by? Wayfair or no? I got left. As your approach, her ten selves start popping back into each other.

She has multiplication powers. She can create duplicates of herself at will and you've seen her cap out at like hundreds of copies of herself. She's just looking comfortable on the beach. She's just got a normal ass swimsuit on.

Looks like she's enjoying the nice summer day. By the time you get over, she stops playing the game, pops back down into one person and walks over to you, Wayfair. Anyway, okay. Oh, hey, how's it going?

Um, you know, got some weird stuff going on in Mars, but that's kind of hard for the course out there. Yeah, Albedo is telling me it's pretty wild out there. But he was also telling me that you've been like really helpful. That's good to hear.

People like us who've got the, you know, kind of a shady past. People are quick to trust us, you know? It sounds like he's doing well up there. Well, he's shown us a lot of trust.

Yeah, yeah. And I feel like you're showing me a lot of trust talking to me. I mean, I know we've had our scraps in the past. Yeah, I don't know.

I don't really think of people as complete beings. Like people change a lot of our time. So it seems perfect for the course there too. She says that's very graceful.

Thank you. I hope you know, I was never really interested in hurting anyone. I was just kind of out of control. Like, like, when you split your body so much, it messes your brain up and I really needed help and I needed treatment and it's been nice.

It's been nice. Can you introduce me to your friends here? I don't want to see him broode. She waves and says, Hi, I'm right girl.

You can also call me Chloe. Hi, I'm the Lotus. Hello, Lotus. Hi, I'm Arlo.

I don't have the fake name. Oh, that's cool. I like that. So it's real.

I don't have any good ideas for one. Well, I told you we could workshop this. You never want to. Spend all your time.

Your goddamn basement hole. Right girl says take your time with it. You'll be stuck with it forever. I mean, right?

It grows a pretty fucking cool name here at Orville and just saying. Just saying it was a thing that like people got into in the 90s and I named myself after that because I thought it's out of cool, but like I'm like 15 years younger than that. It makes me feel weird. I mean, if it makes you feel like a better back when I was alive in the 80s, I thought my here name was going to be fucking fear leader.

I would not want to be saved by fear leader. No, no. The only thing that comes to my mind is great punch because I am purple and I punch my own workshop that like your friend said. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Great.

So wait for why did Obito Cindy to talk to me? I mean, you told me he were coming and he set this up. Yeah, he was kind of telling me about the new religious moment that he's joined and we were just looking to talk to more people who've joined and he gave us your name. Church of the Father.

Yeah, the Church of the Father. Well, I guess, I mean, what do you want to know? I started following like nine or 10 months ago and I got to admit I feel a lot more centered. How did you wind up finding out about them?

Honestly, it was like totally random chance. So like I was just walking around in the city. I've been a year from not doing any crimes, not being in a super villain outfit or anything. And I noticed this weird gold robot show up in town and he's like saving people.

He's like, you know, pulling people to car accidents and eventually I come across him when he's doing something. I asked him a question. He told me that, you know, if I had any questions or anything to come by and see him at the church, we had to talk in and I don't know. It's just kind of natural.

I mean, didn't you see all the gods go away too? Well, we did. But this seems to be a new thing. We're trying to understand why it's coming from because some odd stuff has happened to Mars too.

Like I woke up and I had this structure outside of my house when morning was a bunk pillar. For lack of a better way to just write that. Oh yeah, the pillars pillars. Like Greg was mad.

We didn't have our mants for it. She looks and goes, well, okay, I guess here's what I would say, right? The church of the father's book that the book of the father, it makes sense to me because it's written in modern times. Like it's about life after the gods go away.

And what do you believe in, right? What can you believe this book just tells you how to create that joy in your own life. And that's all I'm trying to do. I know there's some higher level people that get into some weird stuff.

I don't really want to be associated with them. Like the bone pillars and shit. Who is that for? I'm just trying to live.

No, that seems very different than from what Albino was telling us about them. He talked about them a lot like you do. What do you mean? Just that they've been helping so much with his life and giving him some centering.

We're kind of concerned about the bone pillar stuff. And we also have to do of our own golden robots who've shown up. Oh, when was in a bottle that was around my neck? Oh, that's really weird.

Yeah, the church seems to have a lot of reach. A lot of weird reach. Huh, well, okay. I mean, I do know that there's more than one of the brothers, and like that makes sense, but I managed to like in your neck.

She like holds her hands up. Is this dinky? Like I had a city around my neck and he was in the city. I don't know how he got in there.

It was around my neck for like five years. Oh my god. This is really fucked up guys. I thought this was just like something else.

It's real easy to get wrapped up when you're like looking for to make your life feel better. Wanting to suddenly give everything you have because it feels like your entire identity is wrapped up in this one religious figure that you're following and he doesn't give you any kind of information about how you're supposed to be following him and then he just leaves you for a year and starts spiraling. Right, girls splits and puts her hand on your shoulder. Thank you.

I understand that whole wanting to be a part of something bigger. Then shit happens and that your identity starts shifting because what you thought it was supposed to be is not what it ends up being. Hmm, the one thing that really helped me feel grounded was not the book itself. It wasn't going to church.

It was the fact that I met Elbino and I met Jean Tornado and I met Fish Guy. I don't remember his name. The Fish Guy. I don't know the Fish Guy's name.

But like they put us in a like a support group, you know, where we can just talk about our problems and shit and that's what brought us closer. Maybe the other parts of our support group needs to talk to because I didn't look at this much more seriously than I did any other going to church, you know, but once or a couple times a week and support groups are supposed to be a safe place. I'm just trying to figure out how to not put the costume back on, you know, like it's so easy to do and I know that if I lose control of my powers, then I'm going to end up right back where I was. Do you still have the costume?

I mean, yeah, it's pretty costume for together. Right. Get rid of it. So it's not providing temptation.

That's not like that. I mean, I can go out and in costume wearing a t-shirt and jeans as soon as 20 copies of me show up, they'll know who it is. But that's okay. I want to put that life behind me.

I really do. I was just hoping that like being able to help you all. I could show you especially major that I want to put this life behind me. I believe you and I really don't want to get you into a situation where you're going to be in danger with this.

These support groups, have you seen anybody there that either like runs really fast or like has shadowy powers or anything? I didn't think of one person with shadow powers, but is it a woman? No, no, no. Okay.

So that middle-age guy. Okay. Wait, what? Did it look like his shadow was alive?

Oh, no. He's just a dude made of shadow. Like she, she goes his super villain name and shows you a photo like he's just a bank robber. Yeah, like he's been around forever.

He and his brother, she looks at you way faring goes. The other guy, no, T.T.O. You might want to go talk to him. He goes over in Ruby River and they recently had a bone pillar erected.

I also know he said that the weird internet shit that comes along with us and I don't know what he's talking about half the time, honestly. Okay. Well, you should probably go talk to him. Yeah.

Do you want me to come with? I mean, I could try to be the mediator. And if you feel comfortable doing it, sure. Otherwise, I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to get involved.

She looks at you for a second and then puts her pinky up in there. Okay. Look, I want to go and I'm not going to use my powers. Pinky's way.

Okay. Like if you want to get in the fight, that's cool, but I feel like I don't, I'm not going to be in the best shape out there. Yeah. That's not to do that.

We've got three people here. We can go talk to him and make it a cool thing. Okay. Cool.

Then I'll just go with you unless you're other two have any issues with that. Absolutely not. Come with, do your thing. I'm looking at seashells on the grounds.

If you're looking at seashells, she bends down and goes, Hey, you cool if I tag along? Yeah. Okay. What are these?

She picks up a big seashell. She goes, these are seashells. They come off of animals that live inside of them. But this one's up.

If you put your ear up, you can hear the ocean. I'm going to keep one. Okay. My random thump is Wally the scarf.

Oh, yeah. Well, he's or no, well, he's the big cat. Is this the big cat with a tail sticking out the end of it? Yes.

The tail is wrapped around the brim of the hat like a hat, bam. That's not half the reason I've done this. Carrie's rambling because that's where her school was. And she's telling you about all the pointless shit that has nothing to do with the mission.

But it's like, yeah, we had them all there. It was really shitty and it didn't really even have like anything good. But I think I am trying to, because I went to school with Dean's tornado. So I'm trying to pull his file up.

I'm like, I know that name. That's right. He's to pick on Jeffy. And then I pull out this picture for my phone and it's this guy that you guys don't know.

It is Jim uniform and black sunglasses. And he has just standing there and there's a kid with Peter butter, Oliver's fist and he has knocked the third kid out. This is the same tornado. This is Jeffy.

He pissed Jeffy off Jeffy's dead. RIP. Harley's just being a nice friend and just sitting over there somewhat pretending to listen, but kind of also listening because she's somewhat interested. Well, you're kind of listening, but also that they weren't lying about that seashell thing.

Really got something like that. It's pretty cool. Yeah, it's pretty cool. She's gonna make like a necklace.

I'm gonna say that y'all four hit the road in a rented car. All the way to really river. I'm gonna mix. Did we have to get a special old card that had a tape deck player because yeah, unfortunately, the tape player didn't work.

So you're gonna have to go off of some mixed CDs that a friend gave you. Yeah. Can I spend a fake point to fix the tape player? You can try to.

I'll use time bender on that shit. Try and fix it. So the tape player's fixer, you gotta pop in your tape. I'm trying.

Can you make me a resources role? We try to get to roll in this episode. So I'm fucking tape deck. That is a zero.

Oh, going. One of your favorite albums, Tracy Chapman's Fast Car. It's fine. That's fine.

Yeah. That's okay. If you got negative, I was gonna give you a nettle immersion. That's weird.

I would say a few planets away, but it's really only like half a planet away. Deep inside of the Martian asteroid belt, there is a spiral galaxy, a tiny little pocket galaxy. From the outside, it looks like a black hole. From the inside, it looks like a billion swirling shapes all swirling together at the same time.

Not cool if you have a normal brain. Good thing is our hero, Shama Nikita, have a guide with a far from normal brain. Our heroes last episode bravely drove their ship into the spiral galaxy, where they met an old friend, Boneskar. And after pricking him up with a rallying speech, he seems pretty determined to get them out of the spiral galaxy and back towards Mars.

But first, you're gonna have to figure out how. Shama Nikita, you're in the spiral galaxy with Boneskar. He's floating around trying to help you get the ship put back together. And I'm wondering if either of you would be able to make a role for me to repair, be a role in crafting.

Like, 90% sure Akita doesn't have that, but I'll check. And I'm 100% sure Shama doesn't. Let's start rolling negative three. So most of your time repairing the ship is spent trying to fix what he's doing.

After you use him for all of his metallurgical purposes, I mean anytime you need to weld something, he tells you that he's no good at this and decides to go walk into the ship. With enough time and patience, you are able to put the carcass back together. But I only need somebody who is capable of doing some tight turns and some 180s, turn this puppy around and shoot out of the black holes that you'll be back in normal space. That sounds like a job for Akita.

Yeah, there you go. That is a plus four. You definitely break out of the spiral galaxy, pushing through with your ship. Basically you have to put it into light speed for like half a second and then turn it off.

Take some very, very fine muscle twitch. But Akita has got you hard out in the Kuiper belt. Boneskar who is sitting down in the engine, powering your light speed boost, walks in from the basement and goes, all right boys, what do we have to? What's going on?

Well, apparently there was a prison breakout on Mercury. Do we have details on that? Yeah, you two union members do. He doesn't at all.

So he's cool. Okay, apparently your sister broke out of prison as well as Orbido, Omega and Boson Beta. My sister? I don't know who those other two tickets are.

We do. Oh, okay. Do you need me to stop him? Well, I mean, yeah, probably.

Okay. Well, and let's fucking mount up on me. He runs over to applause and starts throwing shit onto the floor. Okay, I guess.

Do we have a spare light communicator? Yeah, for sure. Because Akita's going to hand one over to Boneskar and be like, all right, I'm going to hand you this. It's connected to us and our team, just in case we get separated or something happens to either me or Sean.

Okay. So I should need it, right? Damn, this is the only one you got. All right.

Slides it into his pocket. So what's the deal? We're driving somewhere, we're flying somewhere? I guess we're just got drugs.

I don't know about that third one, but yes, we're flying somewhere. All right, well, I guess take me where you want to go. I just stomp around. Gotta get used to my old heart here.

Stretches. put some music on the jukebox. There's like 70 Southern Rock. He has to, Sean, hey, what you about two big boy?

Four after the gods. God wore, I opened a box that sucked all the gods in and let out some chaos being. She is now roaming the universe. I'm missing.

I'll have something here. I've been ignoring most of that because we're now stuck in this system. How we're stuck here? Where's here?

I mean, we're actually really close to work. We're in the Milky Way. Milky Way? Are you boys fucking kidding me?

We're stuck in my goddamn vacation house? Oh my God. Oh, my heart beats, kids. We're living on Mars right now.

Pretty quiet there. Yeah. Well, we're trying to make it a bit noisier. I can fuck with that.

We're just got a lot of noises and a lot of smells, boys. Yeah. But if my sister's here, she's probably trying to fuck it up. Yeah, that's what we're thinking.

All right. All right. All right. Well, where was she last seen?

Leaving Mercury. Leaving Mercury. Well, no one hurts. She's going towards Earth and Mars because there's people there.

She likes people. Do you want to track her and maybe use a ship? Maybe see if she's left a trail? Yeah, we can probably find a trail.

I mean, that's how we found you. Yeah. Yeah. I fired that up for me.

Keto will go over to the ship's console and start tracking. Same signatures that they were tracking before. Straight line from Mercury to Earth. All right.

Well, I didn't straightforward. Let's see if we can intercept that. Oh, I like it. I mean, I've had the idea for a while, but not really.

I think it sounds cool. Something that happens on Earth, they don't really happen a lot other places. Makes it fun. Plus, there's people there that actually hold a fight, which is just great.

Love that. You guys know I'm big shit on Earth, right? Why walk around people say things to me. They know my name.

Really now. Yeah. I mean, back when I was here, 1950s, the guys who were in the US, I was like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, OK, this is great. Love that.

And you guys know I'm big shit on Earth, right? Why walk around people say things to me. They know my name. Really now.

Yeah. I mean, back when I was here, 1950s, I was a shit. We talked about my spaceship all the time. I guarantee when you walk back in there, those Earth things are going to love you, because you're with me.

They call you the Lone Star. These ones here? They call me the Lone Star. They call the cops the Lone Stars.

Fuck those guys. I got in trouble with some cops. I don't do that. They're the Earth cops.

I don't like it when you shoot a car. Yeah. Yeah. Most cops are here.

This ship eventually gets up to Earth, And you can see that she seemed to have set down somewhere in the middle of the ocean. This will head that way. Once you get there, the trail becomes a lot more focused, like she's moving a lot more deliberately. You're basically going to get right above the water and end up tracing out the coastline of the western part of the US.

Greg, now that you've made your way to Earth, you've got exactly one lead to Falah. You know, hired one of your nephews to work for a van cotton here in Lagos Harbor, and his name has shown up on your HR department's flag list for possible religious extremism. Alright. Just like some of your other employees, your nephew has become enraptured by a mysterious book called The Book of the Father.

When you arrive to your destination, you're met with the serene house and the suburbs. It clean the yard with one thing in it. A six foot high-bone pillar. Looking exactly the same as the one in Wayfare's front lawn.

I don't think that's a good sign. Your younger sister, Susan Thomas' nation, sits in her driveway smoking a cigarette while leaning against the rear bumper of her trusty station wagon. You don't know where to smoke. As you pull up, she pulls her head from the skyline to your eyes, and greets you with a warm smile.

Hey Greg, it's all you notice in the yard decoration. Well, I'm going to have a hard time ignoring that. Yeah, I get it. Same.

Last time we taught you were just heading up to Mars to get that whole space colony thing going. I'm in any bad news, so I'm assuming it started off good? It started off weird. It started off weird.

I'm glad you took the time to come back, Greg. I heard that you're coming to speak with Brandon, and that is... That might be difficult. He's changed.

It's like he's transformed into a completely different person. It's just not him. As soon leads, you enter a quiet two-story suburban home. You're immediately hit with the powerful smell of bleach and other solvents.

Industrial, undistilled fumes. As you enter the beautifully-tiled living room gazebo, you installed by a hand a few years ago? It's a terrible sight. Since his husband, the mortgage guy, sits slumped around an enormous industrial barrel of solvent.

Kind of hard to tell exactly what's in there, but it smells way too familiar for you to be comfortable. He's dressed in head-to-toe black PVC latex, vacuum-sealed to his skin, only with holes in the mouth and nose. No. Hire, Greg.

Long time no say. You know, I'd love to talk with you for a while, but I'm just so behind on my chores. He reaches into a large box, his hands emerging from the box, holding a large human hip bone. He plunges his hands into the barrel, washing the grease and sinew away, standing in the back of the box, and he's sitting around him, or his three teenage sons, configuring more bones into miniature pillar.

So what? Bones. Of course there's old Greg. The kiddos and I have been hiding a lot recently, and this is the best way to treat these bones for display.

I mean, I'd rather not do it in the living room, but, uh, you know how it is, boys, Lee boys. I gotcha. You're looking for something here, Greg? You got a reason to swing that?

Just checking it out. Just checking it out. You look uncomfortable, Greg. And trust me, father understands.

He's taught us well. The entire world will be skeptical of our faith. We can see it in your faces. We can see you judging us.

No, I mean, I'm all for anybody, you know, believe in what they want to believe and do what they want to do on their own time. It's a lot of work. By hand. And, and useful somehow.

Incredibly useful. And we think the father for him. I never really knew my own children before we started reading this book together. I remember one day, happy family.

I see. Cause there's no brushes out of the room as soon as her husband reaches into the pilot bones and plunges his next pick into the vat of chemicals. She's in the driveway by the time you notice. As she leaves her hands are trembling, but her jaw is sealed.

As you follow her out, you can't help but notice the telltale signs of neglect. Cog weapons in every ceiling corner. Half eaten food strewn throughout the house. Family photos push down onto their face to make them invisible.

I'm so sorry, Craig. I shouldn't have run out of the room. I just, I can't be able to look at my own cod damn family. I'm not happy about that.

It's this cod damn cult. The Church of the Father. It's a Church of Liars and Crooks. The feeling is mutual.

It started a few months ago. Ran in front of the Church of the Father online and bought a book. He started missing meals soon after. And every time he would miss, I would go to find him.

And he'd be up in his room, reading his book. I later learned why. The Church can rewrite the text in the book every day. You get lost forever, down the rabbit hole.

I didn't know that at the time though. I asked Tom to take an interest in it, just to see what Brandon was so drawn to. And like of course, Tom did. He's the best dad I've ever seen.

It's just, that's who he wanted to be. He doesn't give a shit about that now. He converted the kids. He quit his fucking job.

He unchurched, checking in the same things, 401k. All the sex cut in Church. I thought I could help, but every time I started to talk to them, I just... They couldn't hear me.

These pieces of shit took my family away, Greg. It's gonna take years to deprogram him if I can get into that treatment. That's if the treatment even works. Who knows?

He falls it on the mortgage. My medical leave cut turned down, so I'm gonna lose my job now. Everything's falling down. I can be out.

Please. Even if you just stay in here by for a few days, please. I don't wanna watch the people I love become unrecognizable monsters. If the only person I can turn to, Greg.

If I think it'll help, I'll do what I can. It couldn't hurt. I'm about to have the whole unionist superheroes pissed off at me. The way I'm seeing it is, if they need me, they can still try to contact me.

But I've got some things to take care of. Greg's got plans. Thank you, Greg. She throws her cigarette to the ground and embraces you.

The scene fades away, as you two clutch together and resolve through rescue her family from the grasp of his hideous cult. Hey, June here, interrupting the action with a special message. Due to circumstances outside of our control, we're gonna have to say goodbye for now, and we're a good friend, Greg Gishmets. And to be honest, we didn't have time to really give Tony the goodbye that he deserves.

The last 18 months of making this show with Tony has been a hell of a ride. If you have ears, then you understand how funny he is. But he's been game for literally anything I've thrown at him and more, all while trying to keep me on my toes as a GM. Which I appreciate.

What better can I ask for? That's the best. Steel sharpened steel. So wherever you are, put your big glass of wine into this guy, crank up that copy of Cheap Tricks Live at Buda-Kung and do a little home repair in honor of our man, Greg Gishmets.

We're not saying goodbye, Greg. Just goodbye for now. Thanks for everything, Tony. Good man.

Other group, you just got noticed that Shama and Nikita are on Earth now. And you're all in communication range with each other if you would like to talk. Beach party. I thought y'all were like out of communicator range.

Why are you on Earth? We were for a little bit. Long story short, we found our 4G and friend and are now chasing his 4G and sister. 4G 5G what?

You know the St. Siz-a-G thing? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. That thing has two children.

Oh, okay. One is Skella Mistress. The one that we're chasing. And our friend is named Bone Star.

Love it. You hear a very weird gruff voice guy in the background go, think, what are you saying to talk to? I don't know if you can hear me. Push the button, goddamn it.

You gotta remember to say over when you're done talking over. Over. We heard about there being a bone pillar pretty close to my hometown. So I think we're headed that way.

Great, more bone pillars. That time is basically on route to the drill you're dragging by the way. Oh fuck. Ireland has finally figured out how to turn on her communicators.

Oh geez. With a bunch of elderly, goddamn it. Good. You're not trained super heroes.

You're figuring it out on the fly. You should understand communicators. I live in a mud hut in a glass bottle. Is Ruby River on the way or is it the destination?

It seems to be the destination. Like five or ten minutes out of town. Yay. And y'all know we're heading towards Ruby River as well.

That's where Skilves just decided. So guess the end of it. We're going to cut back to the other group. The other group you are making your way into Ruby River after getting this information.

You're probably about five minutes outside of it. Where are you headed? I do make one small stop and it is to look at a tree house that is very shittily built. And I just kind of climb up it without saying anything and come back down with a small box.

I lost this. I'm actually really surprised nobody has been up here in a while. I lived here. Nice house.

Yeah, it was really fun. It was more fun when it was magic and it was like bigger on the inside. Wayfarer while Curie is going through her tree house, right girl leans over to you and says, I think I've got the intranetal we can meet him basically whenever. Okay.

You want to do that or did you want to go to the bone pillar? Can I have his phone number and you can call him to the bone pillar. And then we can just do both at once. That's an idea.

I mean it kind of already sounds like the others are headed towards the bone pillar. If what is happening is what I think is happening. She says, I mean if I can get him to acknowledge the bone pillar, sure. Let me try.

Okay. Okay. Is that like a thing? You just don't talk about the bone pillar.

We don't talk about the bone pillars. They make us all feel weird. She looks at Arlo and goes kind of, yeah, people who are really deep into this thing are told to disguise what they believe. They're told to disguise that they know about this kind of stuff.

So if you just went and knocked down their door, they might not even give you a screen answer. She sends a text. Tino said he doesn't know what we're talking about. Is there like a neutral place we can meet where he would be willing to?

Thought. Yeah, like a restaurant or something. We're going to orange hornets. We can go to orange hornets.

Yes. So she texts him back. He says he'll meet either 15. I haven't been there in forever.

I love this place. It's great. It has like the best appetizers. You all get to the orange hornets and you sit down after two or three minutes.

You see the man you recognize, Tino, Teen Tornado, whatever you want to call him. And he comes to you sitting at the table. His eyes are bloodshot is hit. He looks like he has been sleeping inside of a beef jerky machine.

And he brings an enormous manila folder filled with caper. Paper with wet marks on it, paper that's clearly rumbled and crumbled. And he sits down at the table and looks at all of you and goes, I'm here as a favorite Chloe. So what are the other two doing?

What do you want? We're just really interested in your therapy group. Is all. We know another guy who's going through it too.

Going through what? Like it's personal therapy. Like both these people, there's some privacy. We're not saying that they don't.

We're just trying to make sure everything's on the up and up because there's been a lot of shady shit going on. Well, I mean, I know about the shady shit. I know about the things that you capes to when the normals aren't in the room. I know you kill all the goddamn gods.

I'm not wearing a cape. First of all, you just see this like very tiny tick and carries eye and she goes, I would never kill a god. I don't know if you remember who I am. And then she like takes the rash guard and pulls it down so she can show off like the crystal part of her arm.
