We're building the space. We always dreamed of we're doing it right here on Mars in a village Colony settlement whenever you want to call it called Red Hills That's not important right now because half of the residents have turned into an enormous muscly pink demons hold onto your pfg's and get ready for Weird adventures in space episode two doomed episode two were already doomed Akita Arlu Sean Your space cursor has just pulled into port on Red Hills the Martian colony started by earthlings You've been here for a couple of months and you've lived here pretty peacefully You're surrounded by aliens of all different types that can't live on earth or honestly don't really want to they're trying to make their own home here on this big open dry air desert It's cold, but thermal inductors keep the temperature comfortable There's no oxygen, but their atmospheric creation machines. They create an atmosphere breathable to multiple types of species There's electricity. There's water and most of all there's your base where you go to relax to go home To now have to be on the job or fist fighting aliens anymore, but right now you've got a Son and day staring at you from the floor with completely dead eyes She's in a coma you recognize her from your past life Akita Sean Arlu She used to be a friend an ally and when you found her in the clutches of the ragor corporation She's become a vegetable Sean you can tell that something is wrong with her They've been flooding her body with weird chemicals the shared consciousness that you once had now feels like static and It seems as if some of the color has been draining out of her skin on this flight back to Mars I'm gonna pick up his may wait there.
Can you come give me a hand? I think she's gonna need both of our help. I can do that Carrie is may out to a shuttle and go to hospital with her The shuttles are free everyone can just grab one whenever they need it completely electric Akita Arlu What do you do? Arlu wants to sleep He's not slept very well for a long time You feel the phantom pain in your forearm where your arm used to be?
That's finally catching up to you now that you're not flooded with adrenaline Keena Arlu is looking devastated super tired super confused doesn't know what to do doesn't know where to go You're doing all right you need to go to hospital or just want to go back to our base and lay down or something I want to take a nap or something Okay, I guess we can go back to our base if you don't need medical attention At this stubs healed over a keyhole show Arlu around and take her back to the base You get Arlu back to the base you labor through security half are added and is essentially equal to you Team members so she can come and go like it's her home You've all got like your own houses essentially well on the base and there's also a medical team a science team research team Security you've kind of know the lay of the land here and you've gotten comfortable Arlu What do you do once you get there in our show to your room? Do you just kind of immediately get to sleep in there? I'm gonna face plant and go to sleep you face plant into what is a very comfortable soft bed It's made out of some earth material called memory foam for back home. Okay.
I'll go check up on Constance ah so you go to the nursery then yes you enter into this a lab combined with a nursery There are a couple of cribs and several scientists and Attendance you know that Constance is in crib number three and as you walk in the lead scientists to the lab approaches you and says Akita what can we do for you today? I'm just here to check up on Constance. We just got back from our mission So oh did you want to take her home for a while? I know she's not at the best health But I think she'll be fine.
It just seems like a pet gold or something. I guess I can't forbid. She's been stable She's been good since she left her we were worried a little bit about the cough But it seems to have gone away the magical de-aging is still a mystery unfortunately I don't know why she's a baby if she's meant to be a 90-year-old human But she is a baby and it seems like this isn't something that I can fix easily has she been aging at all like re-aging It comes and it goes She'll re-age and de-age she'll get younger and then older She's constantly changing and shifting and I Whatever else we want to say about this weird situation. It seems like a difficult thing for a baby to have to go through Yeah, take her home I'm sure she'd appreciate being around someone familiar for a while.
He will take her back to their coma Whatever they have like a home home or is it like a dorm like a apartment thing? It's your house. It's your house. You can fill it up with whatever you want You've got that spaceship you've been working on in the garage.
You've got a big backyard so that you can run around You'll probably just take her to a living room and stare down the floor with some toys and turn on her favorite TV show Probably prices right real fortune or something Arlo you drift off to sleep. He has enormous horns at the top of his head huge shining white teeth He's got beet red skin and wears a big lab coat a tail travels behind him and he has cloven hoods Can I hover up so that he is not double my size? Sure thing the closer you get the more the more details you can see seems to have a goatee on his face He's wearing a small pair of spectacles. He's got a what looks to be a somewhat futuristic gauntlet on his right arm You can feel yourself being pulled to this demon man.
It's uncontrollable Your soul moves regardless of whether or not you agree You just feel yourself walking towards them and you can't really do anything to stop it. Okay, can I shoot him? Yeah, you can try to shoot him. What are you gonna shoot him with like lasers from my hand?
I'll say make a little roll and a shoe roll. That'd be five on the wheel plus one on shoot So you create this enormous magical blast yay that just misses him completely Completely swears off to the right side of him. He seems to just deftly side step and he begins to look at you and says Welcome to the astral realm witch. I have polluted your nightmares and unconscious world beyond them Space and time belongs to me.
I shall bend you to my preferred shape. I will subjugate you and you'll be grateful I'm gonna shoot him again. We'll roll and a shoe roll plus three Okay, plus three you blast and it seems to go directly through his shoulder With a giant gaping hole and he smiles at you and continues walking forward and says you are helpless here We are in a place beyond bodies and I have taken upon myself to poison your soul Plus four plus one you shoot directly in his feet and he just walks through the blast You can see the the parent is like being torn away down to pure hoof And he gets close to you He puts his hand over your face the one that's not begotleted an enormous muscle bound red wet hand over your face and says Surrender to darkness. I'm going to attempt to psionically punch him in the nards.
Okay. You're gonna go for a junk shop Yeah, he's closer now. Okay, let's do you you make your your last movement as he places his hand over your face a brutal knee right to the junk He smiles at you and then licks his teeth and that's the last image in your head as you fade away back into your subconscious We fair and chum you get your shuttle right to the entrance of the hospital and immediately you notice that something is wrong There seemed to be these enormous muscle bound demons walking around the parking lot Belching fire and acid onto the ground the ground beneath your feet is splitting open to what looks like pulsing oozing flesh And you can tell that just the hospital itself is in bed one There are lights are out and half of it windows are being broken people have been thrown out under the parking lot I don't think this is up to code Remember any of these guys I don't remember no they don't look familiar either side. Let's go Yeah, you go into the front door.

It's just pulsing oozing flesh and blood dripping onto the floor It seems like the slightest amount of physical force causes their skin to basically explode to a big pile of viscera. He's still alive He's just really gross.

We need to get our medicine right or make our medicine I don't know what sort of medicine we need for right now Maybe we try to find like a pharmacy because they'll have all kinds of medicine and then we can just pick Yeah, also we should find a doctor I look two plans were find a doctor or take every pill in the pharmacy and see what see how it watches out Hospitals, how do those even work? You can see a room nearby with some doctors kind of like banging on the glass with some nurses behind them Open up.

I'll just do that.
Okay, so You shuttle them away and way for how do you how do you do that? Is that a weird energy thing? Yeah, so explain to me what happens I think real hard about what I want to make then I just kind of Pull it out of the air and let it drop into my hand Yeah, you're able to like transmute the molecules at the the basis level into any sort of chemical compound You managed to give her what she needs essentially life springs back into her body Although she is still unconscious. I feel like we should leave the hospital So we got what we came for and also people are demons here Maybe we should circle back and like grab a key to them and other people who can fight things Yeah, maybe maybe I'll do can take something out.

There's a hellmouth in the sky A enormous rip in space and time with what looks like a legion of demons pouring out into the night air Wayfare around the other hand is looking in the other direction nice night Uh, wait for this one points up to the hellmouth. Oh my is that there earlier? So greg you are holed up in the security office of this hospital You've got about 10 other people here survivors of the nightmarish demonic scene at this hospital you're visiting Your advantage is that you're sticked out the security office You can see security cameras from all around the office And you can see that wayfare and sham are outside of the entrance to the hospital They're the superhero team you work with or at least two members of it And if anyone's gonna be able to help people get out of this safely including you You're gonna have to get a hold of them. Are all the cameras still up and running?
Everything's still those are all still function About half of them are out, but you can see the entrance to the hospital sort of the parking lot perimeter and the drive up Okay. Well, I uh Guess I used the communicator the cell phone there and I uh tried to contact wayfare and uh And I'm telling them what if they can get to the security office that work that I'm there Then I'll uh, I'll message some of the extra security guards and see if they can't start making their way down the corridors towards them So that way they can be escorted to a safer safer spot, you know You can hold one of the security guard chiefs and he says we're trapped in this part of the hospital this lost power We're holed up somewhere. I don't know if we're gonna be able to move around If we start losing power on this colony, Greg, we can all be dead All right. Well, I suppose at that point then I'm gonna have to contact the uh electricians see if they're if they're not if they're not trapped but they can make their way to the generator room to make sure those are secure functioning Start switching the switches and uh, you know Jumping the jumpers making sure everything that's Everything that's functional is all working together, you know, get them chained up You gotta hold it the atvco engineering department and they say We went out to take a look at the generators, Greg, and there's a problem.
It's physical I don't know how to put this a demon flew into the transformer We need someone that could keep up with rebuilding that damn thing from scratching like 24 hours Well, that's not good That's uh, yeah, that's definitely a Delphi of problem. How many uh, how many electricians do we have here at on the base? You know about four or so, um, you've interviewed for a few more as the colony grows, but it's Not a lot of people are willing to go live on Mars. Right, right.
Yeah, it's a it's a it's a tall order They're gonna want to be paid a premium at least right for DM stuff like that A lot of the people who trust you and are kind of your best and brightest came up here with you Because they understood it was sort of this really weird moonshot idea to to build a colony on Mars You get a message over the communicator Greg and it's uh an older man Uh, super hero known as the beacon he kind of is the safety officer for the colony saying Greg I can get you out of there and take those people with you But signs are showing that this colony is failing and we're gonna need your help Oh for sure. Yeah, as soon as we're through this through this man Oh, definitely uh definitely gonna be able to work this out and fix it up for sure You guys need any help? Well considering how bad or is that figure we need all the help we can get so Has no one seen that massive more? Like we I think that's where the demons are coming from and I think we have to do something about that Greg do you know how to fix a hell mouth?
So it hasn't come up before for me, but uh If I get out here, I get to the electricians and get to the chemists Have them get their meters and their sample kits and find out just exactly what all that is and see if there's some Something they can build or or uh set up over in that area to kind of If not get rid of it at least block it off at that moment the beacon comes busting through your door Greg he is an older black man wearing an all white suit white vest carrying a bright white cane made at a light with a derby helmet on And he says I can get you out y'all but it's not gonna be safe once you get out there Greg I brought Rover with you and I should go and see if we can put some of these stations and stuff back together I can watch it back. Oh, yeah, we should definitely get on that He makes these platforms out of light They look like steps out of the building or out the side of the building that all the people are kind of running down You can see your mars Rover down there your new vehicle Rover This is named too. He's waiting for you at the end wafer and sham beacon comes over to you after creating the staircase and says We gotta close that thing in the sky Okay, I guess I'm willing to go check it out. Well, maybe you should put the crew together It's a hell mouth.
It's uh, it's at least kind of a problem Fair Greg you step into the moon Rover of yours The beacon sitting in the passenger seat and he says all right Greg We've got the atmospheric creation machine and we've got the generators and they're both failing Where do we go? It's an atmosphere first and then the generators without this atmosphere. We're all pretty screwed Yeah, punch it Akita wafer and sham come back to the base and come to your door and knock on it while you're watching the prices, right? Uh, what's going on?

Uh, can't I see Funny you ask As you're sort of getting the morning time sleepies out of your eye, you know rubbing your eyes Trying to wake up your vision's a little blurry Wafer is asking you if you're willing to go look at this enormous hell mouth in the sky And directly behind him, you see the devil man from your dream In some sort of ethereal form like a ghostly form, not quite corporeal And you can see the devil man sneaking up on Wafer I don't think I can hurt the other guy, son I can't push Wafer that way So, uh, Wafer, Arlo gives you a huge shove Hey, what the fuck?
What does the devil man do? He's laughing He's laughing at you shoved Wafer He thinks it's funny You don't have to come with us I'm not paying attention to Wafer, I was still looking at that other guy He walks over to Wafer and looks wayfarer dead in the eye And you can hear this voice but no one else can He's laughing and he says They cannot see me because you are delusional This is your burden Arlo And then he grabs Wafer's face And pulls Wafer's soul out of his body Wafer slumps to the ground No one else sees this They just see Wafer falling down unconscious The devil man looks at you, Arlo and says Prove to your friend that you are capable Come with me to the astral realm If you can survive And then disappears I just realized it looks like I shoved Wafer and then the collapse dead Holy shit what did you do to Wafer? I didn't do that I'm gonna rush Wafer and check him out What the hell happened? Wafer has some very shallow breathing His eyes have rolled back and his head He already kind of looks You know, a little sad and tired So it's not a different thing I'm having a difference yeah Am I able to look into the astral realm like I was earlier?

Yeah it's pretty clear to you now Kita when you look outside That there is a giant hellmouth in the sky Demons of all sorts pouring out of it Red paint You know all your favorite types Well that looks like a problem Gonna have to put Wicker and Arlu in the backseat Deep in the astral realm A realm of pure magic A place that only psychics and wizards Can really feel comfortable and move around Arlu you immediately feel a deep pain And in your flesh and your bone right down your core As soon as you enter the astral realm It seems like there's a sickness permeating Like a fog or a cloud And every time you breathe your your throat and your lungs hurt Can I just use the danger sense that's Give me an idea of what I should do to stop myself from being in danger?

I'm making you bend your knee to me Greg, you and the beacon are driving through Red Hills And it seems like this whole demon issue Is bigger than just demon showing up There have been pillars of flesh that burst out of the ground That very asphalt is cracking away to reveal magma and blood It's the end of the world here On Mars But the beacon who is As far as you know never lost is cool Says Look man this all looks bad But if we get the atmosphere up around we get the power up around We can keep these people safe Right, okay, what's this uh What's this smell like? Right, it's got us It smells like sulfur and metal Alright Alright, well let's head to the We're still heading to the atmosphere generators, right?
Yeah, you're just pulling up and you've kind of just been taking all the sites in All this work that you've done, all these buildings you've built These homes you've built for people are in ruins So it's completely destroyed It's to the point where if you don't demolish it it, it'll be hard to rebuild Right, okay Well then if it's looking total loss here As far as you know structure goes But definitely we got to focus on this atmosphere thing And then of course basic power to start restoring essentials So that's probably my focus right now Is to mitigate this and try to just get going to survival mode To tell things to come down and we can start Actually fixing things again This ain't great, so to put it bluntly But we can't really dwell in it We just got to kind of muster some focus and just start pinpointing the key things So probably a little reserved, a little preoccupied You get out of the rover and rover says to you Do you want me to start picking up advanced con employees while you're out here? Or do you want me to be your getaway driver? I can be a good boy, trust me Yeah, let's put the word out to anybody who's available and not trapped And it's kind of triage this thing If anybody who has first-day training Get down to the hospital We're probably going to need as many electricians as we can find Get a hold of research too and start taking sample of some of the stuff If they can, if they can at all figure that out River says you got it And then he wiggles the back of his rover like a dog's ass I'm on it, I can go do this, believe me, I am a good boy And then he speeds off towards the city And it's you and the beacon, the beacon looks at you and says Greg, I don't want to leave you unprotected here And he creates this giant pillar of light with his right hand on top of you Alright And when he pulls the pillar of light away It's not blinding, by the way, it's just kind of warm and comfy When he pulls it away, you've got a hard hat You've got a protective vest on you made out of light Okay, hi, Viz, I like it I don't know if it's ocean compliant, but at least you won't hurt your head I'm going to go out there and I'm going to try to intercept the demons You get over there to the atmosphere and do some machines so you can do I'll hide by the machines, I start scoping them out Seeing how many power banks are still operational Ones aren't operational, what's wrong with them You know, putting out fires literally and figuratively Well, I'm going to say that you've lost about two blocks of power Two blocks out of how many? Like eight?
It's feeling stressed That's not too bad, it's stressed but it's functioning, they're running They're running, the eight are running, okay The bigger issue here, from your perspective, is that one of the circuits looks like it fried And so if that's what caused those other two banks to go, there's no guarantee that that line is secure anymore It looks like it was caused by a power shortage or something Something like a very easily spread if the machine's still under stress Okay, well then what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to the dead ones And I'm going to hit their cut-offs, which is So they're no longer running and a draw on the system And then if there's any way I can jump the series of wires from the eight running ones Just completely bypass the two dead ones, so they're totally isolated from the system I got to get the electricians down here to sooner or later Behind you, you can sell the pecan as fighting off demons preventing them from coming to you He's doing a great job, you don't feel in danger at all I rolled for you to bypass those circuits All right And I rolled a critical success Okay So not only did that bypass solve the issue The atmospheric and decent machine is back up to 100% All right The beacons is kind of like looking back at you every once in a while to make sure you're okay Yeah, if it appears as though it's functioning properly, I'm not going to I'm not going to monkey with it, no more I mean, why? Why not with success, you know? Yep, yep, yep If it ain't broke, don't fix it, but I will, I'll stop the way The beacon comes back to you and he goes, are you ready to go? Oh yeah, let's get out of here, we got to get to the main generator station now Okay, he says put your hand on my cane and he places the cane right next to you All right, I put my hand on it When you put your hand on it, the cane extends like a beam of light into the sky and you go flying through the atmosphere Arlo, you've kicked the devil in the shins He seems to be injured but not letting you know or try not to let you know, it's pretty obvious Can't I get Wayfair?
Ooh, Wayfair, go ahead and make me a little roll Eight I rolled the particle success Holy shit, really? Okay My will is four, I rolled plus four I can't argue with that So you were being trapped in a cage of psychic guilt and shame I think they call that depression You have been forced to watch earth being invaded by the Riger Corporation over and over and over again for what seems like a millennia It's time doesn't pass the same thing here Your soul has been ripped from your body and tortured by this devil man that's standing next to you And you've finally just snapped out of it Right, roll It's a four When you throw a four at him, he also doubles back And he gets injured although he's able to regain his footing You and Arlo are standing side by side in the astral realm And the man across from you says It seems as if we will be dancing for a while My name is Dr. Hell I am a study professor in various forms of demonology You are a foolish murderer with a butcher's brain Let me take you to the blood Your name sucks He snorts to himself Philistines He makes a dramatic motion for his arms to raise above his head And two giant satiricons rise from the astral floor They are goat men, goat demons Can I pull Wayfair and I out of the astral realm now? That I have Wayfair?
Go ahead and make me a little roll That is plus four You will need to be able to focus enough to meditate I can jump black I kind of want to get my knife back anyway Okay, that's boogie Stuck in his leg I would like to try and kick my knife that's in his leg Just twist it Sure, go ahead and make me a fight roll Oh, at least snap that is plus five You pull it out and you pull his kneecap out in the process Through the back out through the front I want to keep that Wayfair, what do you do for your turn? Or kale You're gonna get I only recognize it as the ace crusher because I'm a superior wrestling fan But can you describe that move to the ground something? Basically I jump up, grab his head and then pull him to the ground forcefully Go ahead and make a fight roll? That's a two He manages to block the RKO Meaning that you get pushed off and go flying onto your back on the ground For their turn, the Satirah Khan's attack is one And they send a Eldritch blast of arcane energy At both Wayfair and Arlu Go ahead and make me a roll, athletics Three Gank that demise one You take four damage from being hit with an energy blast For a middle or?
It is a mental damage Wayfair, you got us, referee The Eldritch blast of energy tears through you And creates a gap in your spirit And you can feel the loss You're losing memories, you're losing sensations, touches, smells And memory sucks Don't have a lot of happy ones For his turn, Dr. Hell opens his maw and spews forth a cloud of black smog into your face, Arlu Go ahead and make me an athletics roll Last three Okay, you can go ahead and move and roll out of the way pretty easily You recognize that he is breathing the plate The fog in the air is coming out of him His mouth with his body, his presence is aura Can I go for the eyes? With what? The knife that I got back Uh, it's going to be a plus two You got to stand in the head for one damage So essentially you cut through his cheek Wayfair, what do you do?
What are the other two dealing guys doing? Preparing to shoot more Eldritch blasts at the both of you Can I like jump up and try to bang their heads together? Stooge style? Yeah Okay Roll for stooching That's a fight roll by the way The stooge is where violent?
Yeah they were Problematic Yes Four Four You got four for banging their heads together Ooh, they did not like that You chipped a horn Cool Shavanna Kita, Wayfair, and Darlie who are passing out in the back of the car And you're driving your moon rover towards the Hellmouth in the middle of the Martian desert Who has a piloting roll? Yes, that's supposed to be on a dice plus two so plus four That's a plus four? Okay, awesome You're able to find a clear path to the desert And on your drive there which takes 15 to 20 minutes or so You're essentially able to just drive through these demons Like they're made out of paper mache And you can see the sky is filling up with flying demons as well They look like enormous bulbous heads With open mouths one giant eye in the middle When you get there When you get out to the perimeter of the Hellmouth Where all of them are falling out of You notice that there is a machine built into the side of a plateau Yeah, it looks like an antenna It seems to be dispersing the sort of electrical energy That is causing the Hellmouth to open You can see a direct link between the portal and the engine itself Oh, looks like that's the way it goes I was expecting it to be a little less obvious Yeah, same here When you're across the football fields length from it Either is an army of demons in your way Well, looks like there's only one way to get there Yeah, I guess you're right Can you watch these two? Go for it Alright, Kita is going to charge through the demons With a car or just solo I could try driving through them Yeah, I'll try driving through them When I realize that's Kita's plan I grab the Puyka and I'll pull the next car Can you make me four drive rolls?
Okay, it's plus two Plus four Plus one And zero So two four one and zero You rev that moon rover up real good And you are able to cut a swath through these demons They don't seem like they're fully formed They're a little squishy They're a little, I don't know They don't quite seem as dangerous as they actually look You manage to carve a path through these demons with your car You're not unscathed, your car gets hit You're shot with Eldritch blasts You're vomiting eye demons floating through the sky coming for you But you're pretty good at driving, it turns out And they're really bad at rolling So you manage to cut a path through the entrance To the point where your car just kind of crashes into the antenna at the base And so you're at the base of the antenna solo You've cut a path through to the antenna But now you're still surrounded on all sides And the antenna is still running How big is the antenna? Hmm, four stories Can I roll anything to see if there's like any weak points or anything on the antenna? Make me a notice or investigate roll? I'll roll investigate There's a plus three Plus three?
Okay It seems like the only vulnerability would be at the base where your car hit But this seems to be made out of some sort of metallic alloy So it's not just gonna crumble You also notice that your car or your moon rover has begun smoking under the hood My moon rover is still like, is it like wedged into the satellite? Yeah, it's wedged into the base of the antenna Think of it like if you got a pizza caught in between two branches of trees That's a weird metaphor, I don't know how to do it That sounds delicious though Jake But if you can imagine the image of these two big ridges in your caught between them Yeah, can I see the engine on the rover? I mean you can see the hood, you know there's an engine underneath it And you've had to like patch up these rovers a billion times anyway So you know how it works I'm gonna shoot at the engine with my gun, my professor perfect gun So you have a space pistol? Yeah, I always carry my weapons So you pull a futuristic ray gun out of your blazer And you're just popping off at the car?
Yep, trying to get it blow up Perfect, make me two-shoot rolls Come on Plus two And I'm gonna use a fake point on that one Another fake point Okay That's the same roll three times So I'm just gonna keep it, that's a minus two You absolutely shoot the car And the car's engine goes up in flames, it explodes It takes an enormous chunk out of the antenna Which now seems to be bending in one direction Unfortunately due to the inaccuracy of your shots You're caught up in the explosion as well And are thrown from the base of the antenna Straight into the crowd of demons Fun Greg, you're flying through the air with the beacon And as soon as you're kind of at the apex of his jump You see the power to the town shut off entirely Beneath you it's just violence everywhere Demons fighting demons Your advanced employees trying to avoid them And the beacon goes I don't know Greg, what do you do? Do we just try to get the power back up and run in? I can control where we land, but We're gonna have to We're gonna have to do that So let's get down, let's keep going to the main power station And I make note as to why the supervisor for the electrician team didn't isolate the two systems That's a meeting for later You land at the base of the power station It's dark out, you know, it's currently nighttime So the beacon creates a pillar of light To at least let you look at the station You see what the problem is with the power station It seems two of those flying demons have flown into the generators and are melting across the power circuits So like they're been ruined by flesh and viscera essentially We're gonna have to wash that off The beacon says I can try to clean that off with light But Greg, how do we reconstruct it from scratch? This thing's trashed Does it look like clearing away all the junk that's shortening out What did it even do any good?
What I'm trying to figure out at this point Essentially the power base has been destroyed But you could easily redirect that to one of the other Columns in this power station It was meant to have multiple different modes So in case something like this happened The issue is that they kind of flew into the switch So you have four power banks You only need one But you're stuck on one that isn't working and they flew into the switch So you'd have to get in there yourself and physically switch over Someone has to physically go in there and make the switch Yes Okay And what's blocking my way to get in there and make it To actually hit the switch The corpse of a demon So the beacon's like do you want me to clear this away Or you feel safe going down in there? If I figure if I can get in I'm probably safer in there than out here So yeah, if you can clear that away I'll try to get in there Okay, yeah, you can tell there's sort of like an underground passage A ladder of about 10 to 15 feet that would take it under the power station You need to get to And it's supposed to be automated but you know because of all the stress on the system It didn't switch over Greg, do you have that kind of electrical knowledge? You put these things in the ground, right? I have enough knowledge to you know hit switches and you know do basic stuff So yeah This does seem a little past your pay grade usually I mean nothing nothing that you can't handle But I will allow you to talk to your employees if you think it might be helpful Okay, yeah Maybe I'll put a call into one of those guys Probably the the foreman if there's a foreman on duty now I'll give him a call Tell him what I'm looking at And see if he has any other recommendations besides me just going down there and hit and switches After talking to this foreman a little bit There is a level of technical knowledge required that you yourself don't really have But these people on staff do and they can successfully walk you through that stuff Okay, are they actually on their way down here?
Are they just communicating that stuff to me through the through the network? They're communicating it to you over the phone But you know after like five to ten minutes of the nice conversation You managed to get the power back up around You had your team in place and you have your specialist in place And things worked the way they were supposed to Alright So even in the worst possible situation Advanco, LTD comes through I'm your brand agent now. I'm just trying to get this brand over I appreciate that. Hey, we try We try that's that's what we strive for to vanc on LTD We get the best people that we can Back in the astor realm Arlo and Wayfarer You're standing across the side from this demon man and his two goat fiend Wayfarer Arlo puts their one remaining arm on your shoulder And it's kind of looking at you like they're about to do something magic Do you allow them to?
Sure You feel your soul being pulled out of the astor realm And back into your body Arlo you retreat back into your own body as well Both of you wake up and you're slung over sham shoulders And surrounded by an army of demons Okay, this is new That was easier than I thought it would be Oh, you're awake Good Does sham throw me? No, I don't think I wasn't going to but now that you suggest it That's a good idea I'm gonna say you both feet underground All three of you are looking at this giant antenna Which is pointing upwards to the sky Four stories tall And at the tip of the antenna is a hell mouth opening I'm in the sky where demons are pouring out of it Seems like this might be the source of your trouble Also seems like Akita just blew up his moon rover in order to destroy it And may have been kind of successful He also saw his body flying through the air like a pebble landing on him on somewhere I don't think I'll help Akita because he's nicer He's Akita injured You'd have to go check Final go check Go ahead and make me a acrobatics roll Yeah, correct Or a willpower if you want to like fly over the ground I'm gonna fly So that I have That's not Or well, not a skill in it Yeah, sure You're just also trying to dodge flying demons So it's gonna take a little step Plus three Plus three Okay, yeah, you get there Fine Akita is mostly unharmed But he's also just like on the ground trying to like stand up when you get there I want to spit a fake point on Akita I would like to time bend his brain so that I have essentially cast haste on him So he's moving at double speed while everybody to him would be moving at half speed Go ahead and make me a little roll for that That is a plus three Akita, can you make me a little roll? That's a plus one You have been given temporary super speed Okay, whoa Early made a big blue thing go on in your brain And now you feel really good And really excited and really happy to be there And it's just a Have a great time Next up is wayfarer So we need to get over to that antenna thing Akita did some damage to it But it's still running so Do you want me to peter peter peter? Yeah, that could work We're doing it You're peter panning him?
Yep What is peter panning him in the Smooth peanut butter? I kind of do that scene in Titanic Where I'm Jack And he's really He's really He's going through the air That's beautiful You get over to the antenna And it seems like Akita has broken its structural integrity But it's still trying to operate Can I try to transmogify the metal? That's what I would like to try to turn the antenna's base into something Brittle Make me a will roll? That's a fight You turn it into pudding Delicious And you can see it sinking into the crust of Mars Falling apart losing its structural integrity The hellmouth itself closes And many of the demons that have appeared Are terrified and are looking around scared Ah fuck you guys That way you're at our level Akita the fact Akita is gonna take up a fighting stance And he's going to try and just Plow through as many demons as he can Just running and punching Make me three fight rolls Say plus four Holy shit that's a quick success That's a plus nine And a plus five The demons roll real bad You can punch your way through the crowd Essentially and get back to where you initially broke off with Chomp Arly you'll notice that This seems to be a magic spell These demons are not sentient beings They're some sort of creatures created out of pure mana Pure magical energy There's a good chance you could dispel it Ah yeah I mean I fixed up moon earlier Ah I'm gonna try that then I need four will rolls Two plus fives A plus three and a plus seven So the plus five is to dispel any magic remaining from the antenna The hell now is entirely closed It no longer thrums with magical energy One down You have managed to dissipate The demons here in the field You don't know if it happened planet wide But for the most part With careful concentration And this magic spell of Dispelation You are able to wave them away Third roll Is to transmute the people who have been turning into demons Back into whatever they were You don't know if this worked Because there are none of them hanging around you Hopefully it worked And the fourth As soon as you're done dispelling these things You're sitting on the ground You're watching them go away as you're Chanting your incantations You see Dr.
Hell appear in front of you In his spiritual form and say Whatever you have done will be rebuilt I am still invincible And will still live in your dreams I will see you soon Arlu In the flesh I'd like to blast him That's what that plus seven is for You blast him His spiritual form seems to be completely dissipated He's no longer bothering you He's not in your head You're no longer bleeding The ground no longer cracks and oozes It seems as if it was just a big magic spell And by getting rid of the wizard You got rid of the spell It's all for you You're in one piece Greg's restored power back to the colony So yeah the rest of you just watch Arlu Basically fix this entire scene By sitting down and having a think Why didn't we try that sooner? Couple of days have passed You're back in your bases Sean You have your own home Akita You have your own home Constance is doing fine Arlu They've built the home for you Or rather had one already Did I get new bedsheets? They're covered in blood Well you were using someone else's bed anyway This is your new fresh red That you can cover and blood all you want buddy Oh god Wayfarer What do you do with your day off A lot of people's residences have been destroyed The hospitals and shambles But you know it's the first time in a little while Where there's not an immediate threat I guess I'll help her guild But I'll also try to scan space To see if the reg corporation is anywhere out there You go back to investigate the antenna At some point in time And you learn that part of the antenna is made out of impossium That proprietary regware corporation metal alloy Sean what do you do with your day off? I'm going to go to the hospital And I talked to his mate Tell about what's happened since And basically spend the day with her Making sure she's okay She doesn't say much She can't talk, she can't move, she's bedbound She's healing, don't get me wrong It just seems as if she's completely non-responsive Are you gonna still try to talk to her?
Yeah, it's just It's also for Sean himself to process these things Do you allow yourself to be bothered while you're at the hospital? Yeah Yeah I'm there, I can work It's nothing important But you might have a doctor show up every hour or so And say hey someone from an administration told me we're here I need help making some more medicine, can you help? There are a lot of injured people here, we need your help Sure, I'll do what I can Thought of the hind and do what I need You basically spend a couple of days Working on and off, watching as me on and off Kind of reflecting and processing It's been a crazy couple of months But there's no guillotine over your neck anymore You have your own freedom, you have your own place to live And it's kind of hard to adjust to that at the same time Seeing all this tragedy in front of you Like, Kita what do you do, you're back at the crib Kita would probably drop Constance off at the nursery In the morning, so he can work on his ship For part of the day Let's just describe the ship, where are you working on it In your house, in your garage? It'd be in the garage You're working on the ship And you hear a knock at the garage door No, open the garage door You see the beacon out there Just a street close, he's got like Some jeans and a t-shirt on It says 1981 Monterey Jazz Festival And he's carrying a six pack And he says, I got nothing to do I heard you've been working on a machine, do you mind showing me?
Sure And then he tosses you a beer Take it and drink it So you just spend the day kind of hanging out Looking at the ship that you're trying to rebuild It's got some bone there, it's got some metal there It's got some circuitry there The beacon's fascinating, it turns out he's kind of a car guy You know, he's working on his car in his free time So he's really surprised that you know, aliens do the same thing Or Lee, what do you do with your free time? What I know that Greg is a handy man of sorts Well, kind of, he has an entire company of handyman So there are Van Cogh people all over the place willing to help I want to give Greg Omega's helmet The receptionist let you leave it on his desk Finally, Greg, you got a couple days off It's been an absolute disaster here in Red Hills But a lot of the members of the populace, the civilians, the non-advanto employees Have been reporting to your office Asking what they can do to help rebuild Asking where their time and their labor can be used to help their neighbors You spent the last few days overseeing significant reconstruction But you also have some free time to yourself to get out of the community What have you been doing? Well, if these people are coming to me and asking me, you know, what kind of help they can give I super appreciate it, of course And of course we could use all the help So I do it, I can't figure out what they're best at, what they like doing You know, how much time they have to spend And just kind of help them coordinate with the people who oversee those kinds of things And just try to find the best spot for them And tell them that you know, they're under no obligation to do it Put in what you can put in, what you can't You go home and relax, we appreciate it, we appreciate it all A lot of the families who have come up to you like that have been inviting over for dinner Bring you baked goods, stuff like that It's been a real solidifying moment for the community, it's brought the community together To be rebuilding each other's houses And you know, they kind of need your expertise when you're there Because hey, the slime guy needs to live in a different house than the bird guy Hey, I appreciate all that stuff too And if I don't require gifts for that kind of thing And if it's an abundance, what I do is I set up like in a conference room or a convention area somewhere You know, just kind of put that stuff available for anybody who needs that kind of stuff If they're sending food and things like that, you know, I'm good So I make sure that anybody who needs or wants that stuff has access to it as well After a couple days pass, it's been a trying couple of days But you're actually rebuilding the colony, everybody's pitching in, the wayfarer and the super team help where they can Things are getting a little better And on the third day, when you wake up in the morning, Greg, you wake up to a rather abrupt phone call It is one of your foremen, it's about 6am And he's saying, Greg, I hate to send this to you, but I got something to show you What is it?
