Weirdo to Weirdo: Understanding Depression Minisode

from Keep It Weird: A Strange & Unusual Podcast

Hi Weirdos, Ashley here.  Upon the recent passing of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain, I felt compelled to record an honest and open message about what it's like to deal with anxiety and depression and thoughts of suicide on a daily basis. This is, hopefully, a message that will provide you with a sense of hope that you are not alone, that your feelings are valid, that your disease is real, and that depression doesn't define who you are as a person. The number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is 1-800-273-8255.  It's free and they are available 24/7.  They also have an online chat.     -\/\/
