Welcome Back!

from CiTR -- Arts Report

Welcome back everyone! We had a great summer break but now it's time to report on some local art. We kicked off today's episode with an interview with Jessie Anthony who is the writer, director and producer of the movie "Brother, I Cry" which you can catch on VIFF until October 7th. After this incredible interview, Serra reviewed Kokoro Dance's "Reading the Bones" which was livestreamed as part of VIDF. The rest of today's show was filled with shout-outs. We mentioned the festivals VIDF, Vancouver Improv Festical and VIFF. We also talked about Crazy8s for which submissions are now open! Last but not least, we finished off today's show by letting you know that "This Beautiful Day" by Kristin McIver returned to Squamish as part of the Vancouver Biennale and also that the Polygon Gallery has tours for "Third Realm" every Saturday!
