I can't tell you how excited I am to be back for a second season with Recovering Church Girls* - we have so many things in store already. A short and sweet episode to say a giant THANK YOU for all who have been along for this adventure, especially those who sent me messages at the start of the break, "Hey, something's wrong... the next episode didn't download!" ;) Thank you for your patience; I'm confident you'll agree that it was worth the wait. One of the biggest developments during the hiatus is the progress in writing the Recovering Church Girls* book - and I'd love to hear more about your experience with the church. This is your invite to take the 4.5 question survey - completely anonymous (if you want it to be!)As we roll out Season 2 we have bonus content for those who want to go deeper in community; (just complete the survey with your email address at the link above to join) - totally optional and no pressure. We're here for the long haul, and we're all in this together. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Punk Theology Russ Shaw The loud, encouragingly troublesome, rebellious, colorful artistry of what one really, actually believes. What if real, transformative faith is more like disruptive punk rock?In a world of people addicted to some piece of certainty on "faith-based" reason. It's not a lukewarm, Punk is alive.Conversations about the artistically odd, pop culture, entertainment, "the church" and current events.Punk is art without rules... Explicit Recovering Meth Kendall Kee A 17 year addiction with alcohol and meth, finally came an end, August 26, 2019. Homelessness. Defeated, broken and hopeless. Add congestive heart failure from the drugs I had consumed is enough to admit I had hit rock bottom. I had a profound spiritual awakening during that moment in a hospital room. I confessed and accepted everything I had done to myself, and to God. This is my journey of recovery, life, and my walk with God. I share my weaknesses, strengths, experiences, failures and triumphs as I navigate down this road.
