Welcome back to school from the NCCS Food Service and Transportation Departments

North Canton City School District is excited to welcome students and families to the 2022-2023 school year! To begin the school year on the Viking Spotlight podcast, Superintendent Jeff Wendorf interviews Food Service Director Jill Lauter about changes from the last school year when all student meals were free, thanks to legislation involving the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The free meal program has ended, and Jill Lauter explains what families can do to apply for free or reduced lunches. The NCCS Transportation Department has a new director this year. She is Sharon Papineau, who has served both in the National Guard and Ohio State Highway Patrol. Please join us to learn more in preparation for the new school year!
