Welcome toBeneath the ScarsHi, I’m Zoe, and welcome to Beneath the Scars.This is simply an introduction to who I am, where I’ve come from, and why I’ve created this podcast. I’m reading this one because I don’t want to miss anything important, but the conversations that follow won’t be scripted. They’ll be open, honest and real.I’ve lived a lot of life, and I’ve experienced things that have shaped the person I am today. I’ve learned that sometimes the things we carry aren’t visible from the outside, and that behind someone’s choices, reactions or behaviours, there can be a story we know nothing about.That’s who I hope to reach with this podcast — people who have experienced trauma, loss, abuse, grief, difficult relationships, survival, healing, or simply those moments in life when you’re trying to understand yourself and wondering why you respond the way you do.You might find yourself somewhere in my stories. You might recognize someone you know. You might hear something that helps you understand yourself a little better, or perhaps understand someone else with a little more compassion.I’m not here because I have all the answers.
