What does it mean to be an Unexpected Warrior? To be unexpected is to be unanticipated or unforeseen. To be someone that the Lord chooses that would make no sense to the culture around us. Look at Noah, everyone thought he was crazy. Look at Moses. He didn't speak well and was a murderer. Look at David. A lowly shepherd disregarded by even his own brothers! Look at the Disciples. A tattered group of uneducated fishermen and a tax collector that was hated by his own people. Then there is Jesus himself... It was said that nothing good ever came from Nazareth. And He was a prophet without honor in his own city.So, that is where we fit in. We are a group for those who have perhaps been unseen, left behind, or disqualified by past failures. Yet we are encouragers with a heart for others. So, we will come together to help each other grow into the full potential that God has placed within each of us! We will challenge each other to step out of our comfort zones to reach the done, the doubting, and the disengaged. And together we will learn how to live our lives as the Unexpected Warriors that God has created us to be!
