Welcome to the Neighborhood

In this week's sermon "Welcome to the Neighborhood" Pastor Nancy explores the words of the prophet in Jeremiah 29:1, 4-7. "Jeremiah says, 'Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you…for in its welfare you will find your welfare.' These words, even though they were first spoken to a people living in foreign land over 2,500 years ago, hold wisdom for us today. What can we do to promote the flourishing of our community? We who are homeowners and renters, landlords and small business owners, students and retirees. What part do we have to play in the life of our community? How are we promoting the welfare of our neighborhoods?"
