Why? Because there was a time when people didn’t believe we could do it. OTs in Pelvic Health were the underdog. We have changed that, one OT at a time. You’re here because you are likely part of that mm or are curious if joining it is right for you. I am gonna help you get your answers because we all deserve to feel fulfilled and creative in our field of practice and I have to admit….nothing has quite done that for me like working in Pelvic Health. We celebrate the out of the box thinkers who decide to take the session out of the clinic to where the client is actually feeling their symptoms, this is for the only OT in a PT based clinic who is proudly representing us, the OT applying for their first job, the seasoned OT who is feeling inspired and who heeds the call to change and become a specialist and we do it all while maintaining our BPS approach, investing in our core values and putting our clients first. The OT way. We will discuss the tools you need to challenge yourself and nurture yourself along the process. We are building a movement for us all to thrive!This podcast will be a mix of solo episodes and conversations with change catalysts and people who inspire the OT in all of us.We are going to talk about foundational topics such as what is a PF OT, how can OTs and PTs collaborate, what are the ethos of the Pelvic Health model, how can I get a job and so much more more. I am thrilled you’re here, where we show up for ourselves and our clients a little better each day, step up the profession and our commitment to it a little more each day and in the process define what occupational choice means to each of us. Your in the right place because pelvic health touches on the core of who each and every single one of us are.
