Description: EXPLORE WHAT IT’S LIKE TO TRANSITION WELL ON A PODCAST ALL ABOUT TRANSITIONS I fully believe the Places Between, aka “the journey of transitions” throughout life don’t have to paralyze us from embracing or being prepared for what’s next! And if Im right, most of us really want to be better versions of ourselves. This community I find myself surrounded by WANTS to love people and God with every ounce. We also want to enjoy the process of the journey and not get so focused on “the destinations” of life that we don’t fully show up for what God may have for us today. When we embrace a life of transitions, knowing we have yet to “arrive”,  we can enjoy the journey and take a friend along too. We can experience more peace and hope. We can navigate transitions with confidence. I want to invite you into a safe space of conversation where we could explore questions of life, transition, embracing all that life has to offer even in those spaces and the places that we haven’t arrived yet!  Every week we will dive into new conversations with friends of different journeys, different careers, life and cultural experiences.  Some well known friends, some not so well known.  Experts in specific areas like health and fitness or action sports or fighting trafficking while others have managed to transition well before us, and we want to glean from their wisdom.  I WANT to learn from them.  I want to learn how to navigate and do life to the best of my ability in my Faith, my relationships, my fitness and health, and my journey.   My guess is, you do too!  So, while we can all agree we haven’t fully "arrived" yet, we definitely want to give it our ALL because we've only got one life to live.  So here we go!   Let’s decide to: EMBRACE one another as we learn how to navigate this thing called life! Let’s EMBRACE a life of FAITH & TRUST! Let’s EMBRACE where ADVENTURES & TRAVELS can take us! The readings consider the impact of Brexit on their lives and, indeed, on their writing. Sharon Black lives in a remote valley of the Cévennes mountains of southern France. Editor of Pindrop Press, she ‘doesn’t just write about the world - a rock, a flock of starlings, an affair - but into it, inhabiting each subject with sensual passion and immense lyrical grace: a true indwelling’ (Adam Thorpe’). Christopher North moved to Spain to facilitate writing retreats and courses at Almassera Vella near Alicante. His latest pamphlet The Topiary of Passchendaele was a winner in the Poetry Business competition 2018. Alex Josephy lives half the year in Italy, and this is explored in her descriptions of the natural world, in the musical Italian vocabulary and portraits of village life in her collection Naked Since Faversham. Fokkina McDonnell is an Anglo-Dutch poet who has spent the last 35 years in Manchester and whose poems are ‘confidently written, with economy and precision, moving, witty’ (Carole Bromley).
