Elk hunting in Washington State is very difficult. You have to choose which side of the state you want to hunt (East or West). Then you have to choose your exclusive weapon (Archery, Muzzleloader, or Rifle). Seasons are very short compared to other states out west. Draw odds are bleak for residents and nonresidents have to buy an elk tag/license just to be able to apply.
