Among the good works believers are to perform is the choice to to trade or do business by fighting spiritual warfare according to His instructions i.e., by putting on the whole armor of God–Eph. 6:11, 13. Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who are pursuing the kingdom are at war against the enemies of our faith namely; the devil, the world and the flesh! The salvation that we presently possess (salvation of the spirit) does NOT pose a threat whatsoever to the enemies of our faith! To put on the whole armor of God is to put on Christ–Rom. 13:12, 14. Doing so will cause us to triumph over the enemies of our faith like He did.
