Hail holy queen! We got a big one. Wendy Makkena joins the fam today: the actress behind the icon that is Sister Mary Robert. You Might Know Her From Sister Act, Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit, Oliver Beene, Camp Nowhere, Air Bud, Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story, and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Wendy totally blew us away with her stories from the set of Sister Act (and her Maggie Smith impersonation), her connection to the LGBTQ audiences from Serving in Silence with Glenn Close and Judy Davis to the indie Finding North, and what it was like to take over the role of "All the Way Mae" from Madonna in the A League of Their Own TV series.
