Da war er, der Super-GAU in meinem Netzwerk. Ein vergleichsweise günstiges und dadurch bei Einsteigern beliebtes Service-Tool sackte auf einmal in die Knie, weil die Server-Infrastruktur gehackt worden ist. Kein Problem, es sollte ein Backup geladen werden. Dieses Backup war allerdings unbrauchbar und somit sind die Daten WEG! Das ist bitte für alle Beteiligten, denn jetzt ist es nicht nur verdammt viel Arbeit, die Dateien wieder hochzuladen. Jetzt sieht das auch vor den Kunden unprofessionell aus. Und natürlich bleibt die Frage im Raum: Kann das wieder passieren. Ich hatte mich seinerzeit für einen teuren Service entschieden und bin jetzt heilfroh, dass ich es gemacht habe. Denn da war er wieder, der Spruch von meinem Opa: Wer billig kauft, zahlt zweimal!
