No Oh 9.75 yeah What would white voice what up? You've got a fast call Hey guys, if long anymore.

You love their pregnant Paul's boy. He said gentlemen. So I really wanted him to Those are those purposeful. Yeah Great.

How's everybody been great? Very good. I've been sick. So I haven't been great Just put that out there.

Hey, what's been wrong with you? I don't know man. I never had Kobe Feeling like disgusting and icky the past week Maybe with Kobe I don't know Is going around I am going to do actually I'm getting I'm having a point this month. So I'm gonna go see a doctor She was good or bad with me speaking of doctors Everybody who was worried about my blood pressure we're back to normal guys Oh What you did to get back let me tell you what I did guys to get back.

Okay, lots of cooking So I cut out like sodium right I cut out sodium So when I would cook and I would you know I started cooking my own food So even when you buy those rotisserie chickens at the Sam's or your Alpertains whatever they are well Sodium so start out just eating fruits and vegetables like berries or your blood pressure bananas Kiwis believe it or not. So I've been eating a lot of fruits vegetables and nuts Which coincidentally you're gonna lose weight eating that like that. So I think I'm down 15 pounds and so that's how we Crazy we're back to skinny Joe now again. I thought I wasn't saying anything.

I was going with you to say something But yeah, I was like you you're looking slim testing slim testing. I like it. So and you know they also say do at least 30 minutes of Like cardio exercise, you know Hit the blood pumping so yeah, man So I've been I've been doing it and I haven't had a drink since we talked so I did drive January on accident But you know we're going all this was building up to mighty ground weekend So, you know, I'm gonna dab a little bit. I'm not gonna go full throttle, but yeah, we definitely going We go come back we go come back this podcast.

Yeah, man. She fucked up Right y'all so y'all you know keep me accountable. Yeah, man This weekend was probably worse than you can drink for your blood pressure, but we Think one of my home boys Speak Quick question, Jo so one of our listeners sent me a text randomly asked me if everything was ever cleared up with your father's grave This is a great question. My mom just just called me.

That's a very very coincidental But I know it's just nagas coincidences. So it's all a part of the plan. But anyway, so They are they are supposed to be meeting with The real funeral director owner guy soon to test everything out So they might have already done it that might have been her calling me. So I will keep y'all Abreast of my missing daddy in the future, you know, you know, I'm better known as where's William?

Yeah, so they the lawyer is the one who drafted a letter and sent it to Yeah, we go sound effects and I think that's why he went ahead and got on get on the good foot Yeah, that's that's a that's interesting. It's a big case going on the next way right now with a funeral director who was taking people money Not embalming bodies properly. Oh, yeah, I find a people a great size like is is real bad. He got picked up Yeah, I heard about that Mother mother said that the funeral director I guess it's a one-in-text wheel wouldn't let her see her son and then like she made a big fit and then went ahead and He showed it to her and like the man the man the young man wasn't embalmed said he's he freaked he smelled it was this, you know I'll try to do so I hope she gets caught everybody gets compensated Right A lady was in the news the other day for saying that her sons ashes got lost UPS lost them should ship Sister or someone and they never arrived But the word on the street I read in the comments was that like you're not actually supposed to you use UPS or FedEx or anything like that to ship That's what I would have thought but was saying that they worked for funeral home and she was saying that if like anybody that works for those knows you only use USPS whatever USPS so I Had collected some fun as on behalf of my class one of our classmates passed away and I sent something like certified off to a Probably it wasn't fidelity, but one of those types of places like he was going into a trust for her daughter and um The check doesn't ever show up and they were like basically whatever this facility was they had their own zip code And he gets so they get a semi-male every day.

So nobody's gonna scan each individual piece like he's like he's probably there But we don't know where or whatever you know, I'm saying so I had a diss away those cashiers The cashiers type of they're always so had to wait you got a little like expire and you got to go I feel out of half a David saying that like nobody catch them whatever It was a whole big time they all there's a special label for it So I mean I know just shouldn't be funny like if you're if you're shipping specific shit They actually say if you ever lose your luggage to tell them you got a gun in your luggage and At that point in time motherfuckers will move a hell but heaven and earth to find your luggage like immediately Like I know exactly where the fuck it's at these motherfuckers touch it They'll do the whole fucking chain of custody because like they say if you lose a gun like they got to like interact with the ATF or something like that So like they don't want no parts of that shit So anything that all the shit they tell you like I can't find it It'll turn up if you see got a gun in your luggage and is lost they'll Don't have to cleanse it up You get to clear back Yeah, I don't think it matters what you say it is because whether you declare it properly or improperly if there's a There's a weapon in the luggage and needs to be found they'll deal with whether you claim it properly on the back end But you can't have a weapon out I Like my mother's with my stopping. Oh Does that mean I'm in showing or you? What really grinds here so burns your bones is that what you say? It's just my ass.

Oh man if I know I was in showing I would have pulled it up I want to be able to read it. So I'm gonna have to paraphrase there was a Viral I guess we'll call it a tweet going around from a girl Who's she posted a screenshot and said that this dude? I don't really know if it was her man I'm gonna say let's just say it was a dude she was talking to Send her money for lunch and he cash after her. He said he wanted he said I want to buy your lunch today What do you have and she said salad?

like he sends $15 and She screenshot that interaction posted in and was like I went ahead and send him his money Baby cuz what I'm gonna do with that like that's all there black and white clear as crystal you get nothing So that became a topic of discussion in it I brought it up because it just it angers me to read stuff like that like Why do I think because I have PTSD from all dumb shit that I hear about and see on the internet? I want to believe that it's made up just for conversation purposes, but I don't know that it felt it felt real in that moment It's not made up like that's not hard to believe It's tough for me But somebody else knows we made up but yeah, it is weird because you don't know at this point People really are like that now we found out after the fact. I don't know if you got brought it up yet But that she's kick back to you think that was a skip yeah We'll see we didn't know that but I remember being like this is Atlanta. You never know so anyway Which I'll take on on this particular situation I'll start here by squat.

Um, so if she's getting a salad how much is I feel like $15 is enough for you to get a salad like if you depend already go right, but How much are you? $20 all right, but if somebody if you said to someone hey I'm getting a salad they send you $15 don't you just add $5 to that and just make it work if somebody seems money for anything I'm full of gratitude right? Over the top over the moon head over heels full of gratitude because you didn't have to give me anything You just thought of me enough to give me a 15-hour. I just be happy so I would just put the five with it.

I think the only time they could be a quote-unquote issue is like hey I want to get such and such from this particular restaurant You know and then you give me an amount of time coming up But if you just say generically lunch or dinner or whatever You can't just wait it out what you think is appropriate But yeah, I would just put the extra couple of bucks with it That's way too much fucking mad man like just be happy and then you gave me something man like it's lunch I put $15 on your lunch man like I don't fucking feel nothing with it like don't do nothing with it by something It's not like who gives a fuck like if I put $1500 up me $15 about put $15 in your pocket Like you should appreciate that like what happened to what happened to just I mean not even all no not even on the relationship From type shit or like sexual romance relationship type shit like what happened like women and being friends like I left my wallet at home like I don't know what I mean for lunch you go 15 You know saying like fuck it like you good for today like go to a food truck You gonna be straight like what happened today? You know say just being appreciated to somebody like look out for you So hold on so speaking of that it just reminded me something because the fact that she sent it back if I was I do what I'd be all right now. No type of chick I'm dealing with like, you know, I don't need her in my life cool You know what I'm saying, but makes me think of the Keith Lee incident about blocking your blessings I've got heard about that about the lady and Dallas. He came up on a food truck woman and Dallas has a food truck Supposedly she needed workers so her son called his friend.

She came to help the woman for free She called her brother out there to cut hair But the brother was charging and she was breaking some other some other girls here Anyway, Keith Lee came up. Sorry thing going on told the lady Hey, I wouldn't give a thousand dollars to the girl braiding so she could break with free thousand out to the barber So he could cut hair for free and here's a two thousand dollar tip, you know what I'm saying? So the woman who owned the food truck got on live later on it was like, you know what? I'm not giving him nothing They you know, my son is the reason why they were out there I'm gonna get my son some money and then he could divvy up happy he wants to type shit, you know what I'm saying So there was just a big I don't know make for three days Just people telling her how tried from she was and Keith Lee had to come back and be like now She was supposed to get in people that money and the end result was because she didn't do the right thing Like now she's close, you know what I'm saying like nobody's gonna fucking go to her, you know, go to a food truck and basically she was just Ostracized by the Dallas community and I think she was from Milwaukee And the walkie people started talking about it so people just got to be careful about just Blocking their own blessings like if somebody's gonna do something nice, well, you just say fucking thank you You know, I appreciate it.

Just do the right thing But in this case, you know, if again, if this is real she want to screenshot it and you know try to make this nigga look silly Like I'm gonna do a $15 fish get a salad like, you know what I'm saying? Or not or get some tacos, you know, say like pivot your lunch, but this is gonna turn around and wonder why damn niggas ain't shit You know, say like niggas are already conditioned to be a certain way because damn I get a chick $15 for lunch And she spit my fucking face and posted it on my mother fucking Facebook and shit and then all he needs is another chick That does like some similar or some same shit and another chick who does some similar or same shit Niggas like well fuck all these holes at this point in time because this is just the way that y'all act and then it becomes niggas And shit because he's conditioned to be that way based on his interactions with women in the past You know, I'm saying like So I always talk about this always talk about this like situation where niggas are really very innocent when you're little boys, right? You're cool. You like a girl You got a crush on a girl whatever the fucking is most times niggas is getting the game first from the mama And certainly if you live in a single family A single parent household you're getting the game from your mom so your mother's telling you how to approach women and go and talk to them I like you.

She's a little girl. I went up to her I was real whatever and then it goes sideways. It doesn't work out, right? And then as a little boy you really you asked the question I went in well, I liked her I was respectful I brought her whatever I brought her a gift or something I bought from the dollar store.

I was everything and it doesn't work out And then you see you look around you like okay Well, who does she like and it may not be what you thought right? You know, I was like what she like this nigga They need to bring her a gift right niggas down a note And you go through a series of these fucking steps throughout your motherfucking life Well, you get to the point is like this shit that I was supposed to be as a little boy That they told me to be respectful be nice buyer the gift and be nice and all shit That shit doesn't really work like you draw it up you got to have a mix of The fuck the fuck nigga and the straight nigga in order to get to the ultimate You know I'm saying to get to where you want to be like it goes into the whole nice guys finish last shit Now that's just not exact But it kind of paints the picture on you got to be a little bit of both niggas go through a villain story too and Typically in every niggas villain story There's a little bit of heartbreak in here that changed that nigga into whatever the fuck the nigga ultimately became to be whether he transfers Back into a good nigga who knows but there's always a little something in here I heard people hurt people. I think the biggest issue is the whole Driving narrative that niggas is broke and it makes me feel Why we need to do it deeper dive in the economics of it all because if you look at it 6% of black folks make $100,000 or more 6% across it was hard 13% of the nation. That's nothing in general So for the most part even though we might have friends in our close friends and people in our cohort that obviously make like $100,000 or more.

It's not normal It's rare so my issue is why is this being a narrative that keeps on continuing continuing to be driven? If we already know the economics of it all You see the map down a few My thing is I mean I didn't know what you said. I'm not surprised by what you said, but let's I guess my thing is Let's say you don't know the percentage that's cool. Do we all really think everyone knows make it Like all niggas is making $100,000 plus a year and then in fact, we're gonna live like there's no nobody has done the math chef Like no nobody who nobody who's actually done the math instead of her to tell you that if he's making $100,000 a year He's supposed to pay all the mortgage all the fucking bills I can't eat a fucking cheesecake factory.

He needs the fucking buy me XY and Z. You know I'm saying and I don't have to contribute anything because of Whatever, you know say that math don't math especially with 20% savings. That's already built in you only get six if you make a hundred thousand You only get 67,000 of that factor in mortgage factor in savings factor in loans factor in Child care childcare all this shit. You have to make a quarter million dollars to meet any of these nerds Yeah, right so anytime.

That's anytime a motherfucker who works at the Dairy Queen is talking about I need a negative Pay all the bills they haven't done a man because they don't know how much life costs so obviously they they can never have done the But so what I'm figured is that like it's people who do that like what am I supposed to do with this money just $15 blah blah blah? It usually comes from people who are struggling. You know what I'm saying that like not struggling like not like middle class struggling Like everybody's struggling. I'm saying like poverty struggling not poverty, but like you know Check your check those other people who are complaining about the 15 dollars the women had a complaint and like oh You don't pay my bills you're complaining because you have an issue paying your bills like Those are the women who are complaining the majority of the women that we know wouldn't get upset with 15 dollars It's those women that are always commenting on Instagram posts that want to be rappers Girl friends so that they don't have to work because you know again They live and check the check and they're trying to find a better way out and so that they don't have to spend their own money They got to find a naked who will spend money on them.

So I That's valid and when I really had to break this down because I heard I read it It was pissed off and then got right up on the radio and I got pissed off all over again I think something that needs to be considered of course I don't know the girl that tweeted this but that's young behavior not only to have that mentality but supposed for the world That's got to be somebody young as hell egg so That needs to be factored in there's a lot of things that need to be factored the fact that you've built the need like you put this on The internet for what so people could agree with you so you could bad your disnigga subconsciously so he could see it some sort of way What are you doing? And then also it tells you kind of what she's used to and there are there are plenty of women that only fuck with dudes that have a Social media presence that's a thing. I mean followers you've got also some young shit And then the other point I mean I know y'all the salad but who's on me in salads? You don't know how much that cost for real the fifteen dollars seems like a reasonable amount of money for a salad You know if you don't eat them, it's like dang you just you covered a tax and a tip you know what I mean?

So not a chop to not a chop to shoot I can't like I can't remember which one y'all made that point But as someone who never asked people for shit if you give me fifteen dollars, that's bomb That's Chick-fil-A. You know what I mean like or that's the salad and now I'm gonna add I'm gonna add some shrimp Cuz you gave me food in I can do all these out if I can get the guacch a totally It's just I feel like that's a young mentality and even though I would like to say that none of my peers think like that I would really like to say that none of my peers think that way. It's any sort of money you get it's just it's the thought I appreciate you Thinking about me But the amount of people that agreed with her was what was so upsetting like nigga where I'm gonna do with that like what do you mean? What are you gonna do with that?

$15,000 and it's not like you said you wanted a steak you asked for salad bitch I just want to fight all these little young girls, but we're not being raised properly and you know how I feel about that Yeah, but I mean it's gonna buy them I mean give it ten years and all these 20 something's turn 30 something's and they don't see what like real What real life looks like when I heard just a bunch of bad attitude document food is expensive right now Yeah, I had a quick question for you. So I don't know if y'all watch this Like I love you Realistic but yeah, so they had a gail king on there and we said the young thing more I thought me at least really proud to my brain so they were talking about how a dude Gail king was like dating some some cat and they maybe been dating at this point for a couple months and he asked her for $4,000 To handle some some issues you have with child support. You also want to buy some furniture So you need to get 4,000 right quick and he said no It was like Sunday's like a Sunday you give me $4,000 today. I'll get it back to you on Thursday This is something that Gail said that her gentleman caller was asking for yes Wow, so for you.

So the thing is gail king is seven years old I assume this young man had to be much younger than seven years old because you're talking about child support business I doubt that you're in the 70s or 60s The only child support this point even if you did have children that you didn't know about this point I thought it was so strange for a 70-year-old to say that that's wealthy as fuck It's not vulnerability bro. It goes it kind of touches on the shackshit even on the shackshit Did you say it was how he toxic it touches it such as on the shackshit man like what does she say? She basically said he'll never open up to a woman because she's gonna use it She's gonna use it against you at some point in time in the future And I'm not saying he's right. I'm not talking about anybody individually all those great things those might explain us but There's a certain case in point though.

I mean it's vulnerability and men have to be careful on what vulnerability they share with a woman Whether it's financial whether it's this is what's on my mind whether it's this is how I feel because that shit isn't Not everyone that shit could be received negatively and I want me to look at you differently and maybe be able to not be able to have a Relationship with you based on that vulnerability. That's just what it is Honestly Yeah, you're talking about vulnerability which is from the man's perspective, right? But Maybe I have a different take than what you would expect But I get I get what she's saying and I mainly get it because she's 70 years old so in my 20s I've helped niggas I didn't want to and I didn't like it But it's like what I look like saying no, you know what I mean as long as you get it back I'm not giving you money, but I'll lend you some money as an older person I'm not fucking with you if you need me for that that you're we are not aligned So I get that I do and it makes me think back to this older black lady I was talking to she was telling me about how you know She was divorced and she was so in love with that man. He cheated and She was like that's why my next husband.

I'm marrying for money I'm never doing that love shit again, and I didn't get it when she said it to me then but I get that now security I think we discussed this on this podcast before the older you get the more security is what's important the all those those feels Don't really matter so I get what she's saying. I don't I'm not necessarily saying she's right But I'm not mad at her for it, but even but even still like we don't know the details of the situation He might have just needed to move money around Like asking for money because I know that's probably how the average man is not gonna like ask money You're gonna mention that you're gonna say that you're gonna leave with that would you not? No, I try to give us a little details as possible because it turns into an interrogation The whole thing either way And that's why we didn't ask for money because it's gonna be an interrogation level Why don't you have the money? It's like I'd rather not get into that, you know saying like if I need money I need to get it myself.

I don't want to be putting up because it was funny I was listening to people debate about that and they most of the women agreed They said it was a security issue and it was a safety issue like I don't feel safe with this Because you know what I'm but but you but here's the question I have that goes with this conversation So if I'm the man and I've been paying the bills right I've been paying the mortgage I've been doing all of these things for 10 to 15 years Right, that's a net positive investment that she that has gone into her because she doesn't have to pay those bills So if I paid $75,000 Towards bills in mortgage or whatever for 10 years technically that's a $75,000 net positive to her I should be able to go to her as the bank and reasonably withdraw some of that in time We don't know what it's paid for I do know that because if it's somebody that changes it if it's somebody that's been paying for you for years Then it's nothing for you to ask me for something no, it still is it's still absolutely is like Here Sure, she'll never buy herself in this situation. I might find myself in this situation But isn't that why you dip but I mean cuz he's the he's the 40-year-old nigga in this situation He's the young chick right yeah, so if you're the old nigga and you're fucking with the young chick don't you kind of understand that there's gonna be some That's gonna happen to some hour they expect it There's gonna be some cost to do a business some point because if you over here at cougarine then it comes with the territory Right, we're assuming cuz they'd but I agree with that point like We also don't know what her history is she could be fucking with millionaire 40 year olds they they out there so it's like You know you know fucking you know you know fucking you know king and not long enough to ask a little hold out like If you're fucking gilking you're fucking gilking for the money Oh Millionaire She might have fucked so but she's not she was also for you know this is crazy time on gilking fucking like nobody got a final Straight now At the 40 women getting one of you no Level Speaking of they swinging Yeah I don't follow anything For The hairline and like the side profile honestly, I do not think that that is him. I really don't I think that that's That wasn't him. I don't know who it was Like To do now I don't think It's a long it's lengthy, but it's not very girthy, but it's a lot of links there.

It's definitely gonna get It's a light-skinned man for sure, but you know as dick is a little darker so it's a nigga, but it's not great I don't think that's I do not think he has that much meat and I'm and I'm saying wow he doesn't No, well, I'm not gonna go in on like that's not what I'm doing right now I I can't be colorist. I'm trying my best to do this the right way Drake and the way that he behaves gives very much little dick energy Very And it was it was weird because it looked hard and soft the same color like hella like DDA It's not You know there's no no no no relax, which is loose ass walls. It was a good size I Mean I think is this Drake is almost 40 right? Is like a what 38 I believe he's given he's probably 36 He's the Rihanna's a you know the Rihanna's thing okay, so when's the cutoff?

37 predict footage I never did it cuz So are you a fan of that you're fan of that particular I mean I mean Can sit I mean if somebody women like to see dick pics and come video some women do that's part of their thing that they do Especially if you're in a long distance relationship, you know saying like you might you know he might Now about regular to your girl he talking about to the internet right Oh That's another thing Drake's been around 20 years. He gonna start showing his meat now Does that make sense to y'all unless he has surgery what she could have because I got a lot of money I said you had a BBL there I believe that before I believe that this is what he was born with ain't no way ain't no We're Don't I don't I don't like they would ask I mean he's been around the block it up seems like somebody went his past Whatever Conquibon whatever would confirm I did not have we nobody has He's I broke he is that's not as me Okay, so hopefully we hear the news and he'll be shamed for What you could have out of here finally that would be a Celebration did he didn't post it though, right? It's not like he went around saying hey y'all It's hard to know because if you have your own There's not a woman in the video so you had to be whoever whoever that is holding me had to be the person that we did cuz Somebody was holding his oh, I got it after your I know just get it Oh, you said somebody else on the grass. No, no I I Don't know Why is what now why can we dance on each other and y'all can't because we can't I mean you have to show me There's no such thing as a little bit a little bit of gay niggas Then I didn't want to but I just gotta man up and do this so you don't look weak in front of your lady Okay You know how hard is to be a man like this shit you've been scared of your whole life you can't be scared of a friend your girl I'm terrified.

I'm terrified of you. I'm terrified of bees and wasp. I terrified my brother almost died like fuck I got legit phobia about bees and wasp I can't show that in front of anybody My entire soul is is fucking imploding, but I can't outwardly show fear Because he has to it was outside I'm like I gotta be able to be able to ask them to kick so Yeah, but if it's inside out so you know, it's a minute threat to somebody Like My man like we can't both be scared of the same thing so if you go and decide that bees is what you're scared of you Right, yeah, that's what I'm saying and that's when you go fuck off see I Friend of the show on Instagram she has where a bat flew into her house So what you do? Had a One day you could be arguing with your girls you like to talk a shit up a call Johnny with the net and I was like So the fuck I'm talking about right here.

I'm overbilly So So we had Right I'm gonna get this in the office so I just I taught something at it, but I was like regular bird You know regular bird just fly away that was like I want it out of my home That's outside yeah I Implement I could javel and I thought I took my car I put it in the grass and put the brakes on the owl and I got out of car and I took the rake Jowling it out. I took some mops I hope it would go because I threw like a thing javelin type implement Okay, nobody clean now some more because I'll just shoot on the roof and the other uns Had the gay black man Wasn't lemah the mom fucker they was yeah Listen, that's why they just don't that's why I think it's don't moan when they have sex cuz you can't be vulnerable Why you were sounding good for you feel Hey Nobody that want to be silent. He ain't getting none ever again. No, no, you have to make noise now.

You can't be a guy. I don't know. You can't help it. If you don't bet, you can.

No, no, no, no. And we're back. Right. So, next on the docket, the Grammy.

So, the Grammy Awards took place. The 66 Grammy Awards this past Sunday in LA as usual. A few of them in there. So, Killer Mike swept all of the rap category.

So, rap performance, best rap album, best rap song, which was awesome. Congratulations, Killer Mike. I think the consensus was I could listen to it. This should be a award-winning album.

So, I was very happy for Killer Mike. And a round of applause. The nine foot Killer Mike. The most interesting because it was a little gross.

Yeah, it is. Woo, Killer Mike. It's interesting because, like, he would arrest it right afterwards. Hold on.

The first monstrosity was that they didn't show the fucking best rap album during the actual fucking Grammy. Like, it was all part of the fucking pre-show. So, my homeboy hit me up about fucking six o'clock before the Grammy's went on. But, like, this nigga Killer Mike went rap out on the year.

Like, the Grammy's not even on how the fucking know. But then it has one Grammy. So, I thought, like, the nigga decided inside track. And they was like, no, that's a fucking slap.

That's a fucking slap in that fucking Facebook. They have all these things. So, how does that work? Wait a minute.

The pre-show stuff. How does that work? So, all of the ones that they don't show on the actual telecast, they just have people come up there and they, I mean, you still have people that, like, read it and then they come up and you accept it and you still give a speech. But don't nobody see that shit, but you're cousin and you're a man.

Oh shit. That's fucked up. And rap album, like, rap isn't a big genre. It's like the biggest genre.

It's pop. Right, nigga. So, like, they're showing, like, best alternative Russian sign language, like, the big Russian sign language during the fucking Grammys, but y'all leave all the best rap album. That's fucking crazy.

It's disrespectful. I mean, the only time they showed it live, they showed it like a couple of times, like, you're Macklin' more than one and they showed it up. Oh man, that was one of the biggest, then they go, and they're going to be Kendrick Lamar for best rap album of the year. I think Drake, did Drake ever win best rap album?

I feel like Drake won an award and he got it. I don't think he wasn't, I don't think he was there, though, huh? When he won it. No, he was there.

He was there. Because it was on the regular telecast. They only do it when they feel like the stars big and not for it to be aired on the other cast. Right.

Which is, again, fucked up. I don't know. So yeah, they took him away. Yeah, I guess apparently he shoved a security guard.

Nothing major. Nothing I think that would warrant being taken away handcuffs. I think he was trying to get his people in the back and like, get your weird ass out of the way. That was sort of thoughts.

Yeah, I'm both of it. I'm okay. I'm gonna put the 10-foil hat on for a minute. Do y'all think that suppressing urban rap categories and creating this sort of controversy He makes money for the Grammys.

Like he was talking about, I mean, because the award show was kind of dry. I mean, I'm the, fuck the Grammys, I like the performances, but the actual Grammys are really kind of trash. Do we think that that actually creates controversy and makes the Grammys more watchable? The fact that they're suppressing the Urban Kinders?

I don't think so because you're cutting out an audience. If they're not gonna show a best rap album, then why the fuck is the black audience, like you're using a subset of people that way. I don't think that people are like, damn, the Grammys fucking all the niggas, let's watch it. But doesn't that kind of goin' away, Jay-Z was saying?

Like, Will Smith and them boy caught at the Grammys, he boy caught at the Grammys, but he said Will Smith went home and watched the Grammys. I went home and watched the Grammys. Isn't that similar, more of what they're saying that, I think we're hate watching the Grammys. Yeah, but if you have a musician, yes.

But for the regular mother fuck at home, I'm not that invested in music where I'm still, like that's their bread and butter, so that's their job. So of course they're gonna look just to see what happened. But me, I'll go, I'll watch basketball, and stay at the Grammys or go to a Grammys. I think it's watched the Grammys because mostly, I just wanna see the other side because I'm so disconnected to what's popular music now at this age, I don't know, maybe I shouldn't use age excuse, I mean, use age as an excuse.

I was shocked at how much I didn't know. Like, I know Taylor Swift is considered a big deal. I've never really heard of Taylor Swift's song, so I was just surprised how much she was getting because I just never heard of her music. I knew Billie Eilish was big, never heard Billie Eilish sing.

She could sing all right. You know what else else she was supposed to. And someone who's heard a lot of Taylor Swift music just for the fact that I don't, I don't let my kids listen to like Kirsten music and I don't always listen to R&B or whatever. So if you listen to pop, you're gonna listen to some Taylor Swift.

So I knew Taylor Swift was pretty popular. I mean, this has been going on for years. The issue, the feedback that I take from this is, I'm shocked that people are shocked, right? People are like, this is my first time ever hearing about Taylor Swift, I've never heard of Taylor Swift's song in my entire life.

And that may be valid, right? But we can't talk about inclusion, like we can't talk about inclusion, right? And insulation of the Grammys and why is this side not being represented? If you only listen to the music in a silo, there's somebody else on the other side who also can listen to music in a silo, you know what I'm saying?

Cause if you've never heard of Taylor Swift's own in your life, like that's crazy. Like honestly, and truly, I know we love Beyonce, Taylor Swift is probably the biggest musician on the planet right now. And you're saying you've never heard of song of hers. That's living in a musical silo, you know what I'm saying?

So if you can do that, certainly there's somebody who votes for the Grammys, who listens to the Grammys or lives somewhere else who can also live in a similar silo. Oh, you're right. I'm not saying that that's not the case. I'm just, I was just really kind of just speaking on my personal experience.

No, no, I'm not talking to you individually. Well, it was interesting. Taylor Swift won album of the year. It made me want to listen to it, but I probably won't.

I was having like the base of my daughter at the house because she wants to listen to Taylor Swift and my wife refuses to allow it. Cause we need to go here. So it was like, she don't want her to be too inundated with the culture at her school. Like the teachers and students all love Taylor Swift.

And I get it, she's in fifth grade. She wants to kind of be able to speak to whatever people want culturally. Yeah, yeah, I'm taking that away. What is it that we want?

Don't we want our kids to be little day walkers? Like don't we want them to have all the difference in the weaknesses? Is that not the ideal situation? And they get you listening to pop.

I listen to pop. I listen to pop. I listen to pop. We don't listen to pop.

When you were growing up, we all listen to pop. So we'll be ready. What do you mean? You know new kids on the, maybe that's a, in sing songs and fucking, all the boy bands, the white boy bands, you know those songs.

Justin Timberlake's in the world and all of this shit. We held this in the pop. I mean, I remember. Yeah.

I don't know any of the albums, but I was just listening to it. Yeah, but you listen to it. And you know the words of those songs if they come on. And now we live in a time where like people stream more, like we don't play the radio.

So it's like, I guess she would be more exposed to if we play the radio, but we don't. So it's like, but for you, but for you to be like, you better cut that table switch off like my momma did this. It's about this. She's gonna get into it on her own.

I mean, eventually she's gonna start listening to whatever she wants to listen to. And I'm fine with that. I think it's more like, you know, when her to be too inundated culturally because you don't like my people. It's wrong, man.

You know, playing secret. I guess. Anywho, so she won that. She won the Victoria Monday.

She won best new artist. I was happy to hear that. I think she's won a few awards. Shout out to Sizzo.

You know what I'm saying? I don't want to listen to it. Yeah, Sizzo doesn't sing live either, which bothered me. I mean, she didn't sing live at the Grammy switch.

You know, and it wouldn't be bad if the other artists like my desire was singing live and Billy Eilish was singing live. I just wish Sizzo was on live. I mean, I think Sizzo just didn't want to get caught because these other singers that were singing live were singing pretty fucking good. Like, my desire is having good performance.

We got a shout out. Tracy Chapman? Tracy Chapman was great. Yeah.

As always. She sang with Luke James. Luke Holmes. Luke Holmes.

Yeah. He did great. Like, and she looked great. Like, Tracy Chapman's like 60.

And still looks, you know. And she doesn't perform at all. Like, for her to come out and do that, it was actually kind of a video. Like, she's really like fuck all of this shit.

I mean, yeah, because Fast Car came out in 1988. But she also, like, after that performance, Fast Car is like the number one song on iTunes. So, you know, good shit for her. Well, Luke Holmes was like number one for a little while.

And people had an issue with Luke Holmes doing that song. I think that's why they came. They circled back to the Grammys to kind of make it okay. That Luke Holmes was singing Fast Car.

Shit, I'm sure she like the way they got to do it. I mean, I'm sure she did. I'm saying like, she wrote, she wrote, and I feel like, she getting paid off of Luke Holmes's rendition of that. But to everybody's sitting on their couch, that's a Tracy Chapman song.

He got me his white man. I hear a singing, I'm Tracy Chapman song. And I'll fuck with that. She fuck.

Did she know that he's singing this song? Of course she fucking does. You know what I'm saying? Like, I think it just circles back and saying it was, it's creative expression.

He's cool. It's been cleared. We're going to do a duet together. But the thing is, that song charted on country pop and R&B, when that song first came out, that was like a black song, which is a fucking first song.

Because we were a little less a genre-ish, you know what I'm saying? Because we grew up in an era where you listen to whatever the fuck is on the radio. Bitch, that might just be pop. That might be all turned.

It might be country. You know what I'm saying? Now, like Shuffle's saying, you can stream what you want to hear. If you want to just be hip hop for your whole life, you can be that.

Which is crazy. And that might be a bad thing. I mean, because I think a lot of the artistry from when we were younger came from the fact that everything was so diverse. So...

Right, that makes a better musician. It makes a better musician. And that's why all these young rappers sound like the same. Like that that autotune, fast bullshit.

And they can stay in that lane for like you said. They're not listening to anything. That's why they sound like that. And they think that's how rap it is.

That's how rap is supposed to sound. Yeah, because you saw how Travis Scott came out there. That shit was a fucking culture shock to the niggas in the audience. Like what the fuck is this nigga doing?

I don't think it was. No, no. Why people been doing that shit for a long time? Like tearing the fucking stage up and doing it like going crazy?

They were probably what Shuffle and Nigga was doing it. That's what it was though. They weren't expecting the nigga to do that. They were not fucking with it.

Like you can just tell. I'll give it no interest. This is the greatness, bro. Yeah.

I get it. I wonder if they asked him to mic him to perform. Probably not. But...

They would ask him to perform. The song he got awards, which is crazy to me. I think it was the best song album was scientists and engineers. So that would admit that about 3000 would have had to perform with him, which wasn't going to happen.

I mean, you never know. I don't know. I mean, I think regularly. But like, or tell him, maybe, you know what I'm saying?

And his nigga has a flute now. So, I want to cool the flute out for... Yes, I do. But I don't think...

I listened to a couple of his interviews and he doesn't give me the feeling that he wants to perform until he might tour the flute album. But hell, that might just be a... I mean, he is doing the flute album. Oh, I was already started?

That's crazy. I'm like, all right. I love the flute. I love the flute too, but...

Floudous. I like that. Okay. So let's get to Jay-Z.

So Jay-Z gave a speech. He won the Dr. Dre Award, the Global Impact Award. Is that a Vanguard Award?

Is that all the same? Sure. It's the Black Grammy Award. I give it to me.

It's literally a Black Grammy, which is wild. Anyway, so he got the award this year. And I think she took this time, this opportunity to kind of give us speech to draw a record, make the lack of recognition that Black artists have been getting from the Grammys over the years. So he spoke on a few things.

I mean, the main thing was like the lack of acknowledgement of Black artists. One of his closest, like, love y'all. One of y'all want y'all to get it right. I don't want to embarrass this young lady or friend to Beyonce.

But she has more Grammys than anyone and never won album of the year. So even by her own metrics, it doesn't work. So I think he took the time to talk about how, you know, rap has been slighted over the years, how his wife has been slighted over the years. And he wanted to say, you know, I'm not happy with this.

I hope he gets better. I was interested to get your thoughts on his speech. Y'all think it was necessary or you think otherwise? For the people he intended to help.

I think it was helpful to them. And it was better used as platform to bring awareness. I mean, whatever the big one to say, you know, the nigga has to get off his chance. Go ahead and get it off the chance.

So I mean, I think it's necessary because he felt like it was necessary. I don't agree with record or album sales equating to album of the year. Like I said earlier, like Macmore be Kendrick for album of the year. And of course, Macmore sold more, but that doesn't make it a better album.

You know what I'm saying? So that's one thing that I disagreed with. And I've seen people debating now, has she really had an album that was worthy of album of the year? And I've seen a lot of debate.

No, no. I think most people are saying lemonade, but I think lemonade went up against a deal. That's the question. What year was that?

2006. No. It was a quick thing. 24 2015.

And recorded. So, you know, I don't know. But Jay Z, he said one line when he gets nervous, he starts telling the truth. He was just talking about how some people didn't belong in certain categories with, you know, which is true.

But that makes no sense because Beyonce won Best Electronic Album last year. Literally one of the nominees mouth that won't you want to? What the fuck? I mean, the Grammys are, you know, the Grammys aren't really real.

Like that anymore. I mean, they've always been for studios and companies to make more money. Probably another reason why I didn't get his Grammy in front of everybody because then, you know, his money would have been up and he'd get the shit independently. So, you know, foil hat, you know, they don't want to make it get more money and more run because of that.

But, you know, it is what it is. But yeah, I mean, we can't put too much stake in the Grammys. I mean, people have been saying this for years. There's a lot of people talking about the hypocrisy of it all to champion Boycott and the game.

To champion Boycott and the Grammys and then to receive a Grammy the same year they don't show the rap album category. So, you know, it's just a lot. It's just kind of... And it's not the board of the Academy.

It's one of those things you just got to, you know, either sometimes you got to play the game to be able to change the game. So maybe that's what it is. I mean, I still, I'm still not believe that Jay-Z has black people's advancement at the, like, in his mind. I don't think that he's a culture vulture.

I think that he really wants to affect some sort of change. And the only way you can do that is to get into that billionaire boy's club. Which includes being on the Grammy board and being in a fail and doing all this other shit. So hopefully he's doing the right thing.

I guess time. Time to. At the 59th Grammys eliminated loss to 25 by Adele. You were right, Jay-Zo.

But 25 was out. Which was a fucking banger, by the way. 25 was. But, uh, my name was a good album too.

Your bro started out with... But I don't think Beyonce is as transcendent as people think she is. I did that. You know, I...

Well, go ahead. I just don't. I mean, she's got black folks a lot. She's got a certain demographic of white people a lot.

But I don't know if Beyonce is... Do the motherfucker who listens to just country and western, there's that person also listening to Beyonce. You make a great point. And that's my issue with it all.

Because Beyonce's demographic is black women. It is. And my issue with her and Jay-Z kind of walking away from that or trying to walk away from that in the pursuit of billions, which is fine. I mean, get your money.

As you forget where you came from in that sense. Like, we didn't care about the Grammys when we were kids. We watched the Source Awards. The Image Awards was the shit.

The Soul Train Awards was the shit. Like, we got the couch. It was. It was.

We got the college they started to be in T Awards. But we had awards shows that we watched. Like, watching the Source Awards was like a big deal. So, it was like, um, I just found it interesting because we had conversations talking to these white folks to get acceptance.

Well, we already accepted you from where we were. Like, it's not about us accepting. It's about white folks accepting you. And that's, that's why I take issue with you.

You honestly had a tour, a record breaking tour where black women was breaking themselves to make sure they was at your concert. Putting the hell of money. Like, my wife was just telling me, I didn't even know this shit. She was telling me that she wanted to know she's like, I can afford to go to that concert.

I want to go and pay it. Even if I could afford it because she was too much money. I'm like, okay. And she's like, so I was thinking of taking, I want to take our daughter to see the movie version, you know, like, get dressed up in some silver, go to the theater and watch the show.

You know, it was a hundred percent markup for tickets for that show. Like, like, you know, like, so it was like $25, $30 a head to watch the Beyonce movie that would be tacked on to the normal price. They're watching a movie because, like, for people who knew they couldn't afford a $1,000 ticket, instead, they'll go take their kid to the movie and try to mimic the experience, but you're going to still overcharge for that. So essentially, a normal trip to the movie, which is already a grip.

I take my daughter to the movie all the time, ain't she? But then you double the price, then they probably got some Beyonce popcorn package, you know what I'm saying? Where the sprite costs $40 and the popcorn, another $30. How are you making this up right now?

You get an advice in hat? You get an advice in hat? Like, Badazzle? I'm willing to be able to put together a package because it showed exclusively A&C theaters.

I don't see a lot of movies, so I'll defer if you think so. When did Beyonce culturally appropriate the advice in hat, though? Like, I just see a lot of advice in hats at the conference. Why don't you find out what the real name is of the advice in hat?

The advice in hat can hardly go. Do you have an advice in hat? You got a band of red hat at your group? I got a band of red.

Hey, everybody help me do the band of red hat at the West. Band of red. Band of red. Oh, yeah.

It's just bigger in Nashville that we all refer to as art hat because it's big hat on the art hat. What's that? Like a champ? No, a fucking voracious.

It's an art hat. It's an art hat. I think it's a thing with art hat. You remember the art hat?

So, before Bada's gotta be, like, to my recollection right now, which is kind of foggy. This is the first person I ever called. We're in a body like a discussion that my neighbor didn't ship me walking. That's the best out with us.

So, like, one of my other neighbors, like, one of my other neighbors, like, one of my ones, a neighborhood, two of them actually. They used to call it a painter's cap. And then, like, Bada came in a little bit. He used to always go in the paint and scout.

Well, it's not the paint and the cap. And the art hat. Art hat. Art hat.

That's crazy. That's crazy. That's like that big of the day. That's the first.

I can't remember. What am I saying? What's kind of a... I remember going home.

Maybe a difference came out. It was like super intense. It was like a septic. Hey, what's up?

It's a septic. What's up? Septic. You got him below.

So much. They got altered bees. Yep. If you have your crew together for Ninja Turtles and Simpsons, like, you had to be a birthday party.

You couldn't just walk up to the Lance Castle and try to go hard by yourself. The saying is shit. We're burning into your pizza money. And now you don't have no money for pizza.

Now you gotta go ask me okay. You gotta ask me okay. You gotta ask me okay. You gotta ask me okay.

You gotta ask me okay. I worked at Cinecomine. So I used to be perfect fields for food. I was like I'll get you a Cinecomine.

I'll get you a Cinecomine. I'll get your leg cut off. But, uh, it kind of stood up. You was offering niggas who got diabetes in their family.

A Cinecomine. I wasn't happy about it. I was trying to shoot. Damn.

Damn. I remember when NBA Jambs came. They put one in the, like, the Black Movie Theater. Hey boy.

Niggas was just going to bitch. It'd just be playing NBA Jambs. They got all fucking night. You couldn't keep track of the quarters.

Niggas like everybody got a quarter on the machine for NBA Jam. Like, no, that's my quarter. That's my third. That's my third.

Was that a movies eight? Uh, that's a movie? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I think it was about to be in our first AMC.

Like, oh y'all thanks. I'm trans. But it went fancy. But when he first opened, I set out the balance squared.

It's the first one to hand multiple multiple theaters. We live the life, bro. We live the life, man. You get dropped off by your fucking parents and shit.

Fuck shit. Did you see a beam saying the 90s was like the apex of modern society? That should make me, I believe. I would still say that's the 80s because the 80s were still kind of like raw.

Like 80s is real raw and unfiltered. I was just saying it's interesting saying it's niggas are starting to die a little bit, a little bit more in the 90s. I think it's kind of pulled back in mid 90s. Do you know what kids are in the net?

I can't play pinball. Even back then I knew how to get the most bang for my butt nigga. In the 90s, if you rode with somebody who smokes cigarettes, they would at least roll the window down. You know what I'm saying?

That's true. Whereas in the 80s we're all about to just die together. Alright. We don't enjoy this mirror.

But it's fine. The fact that they had smoking sections in restaurants. Smoking in the club. Like the smoke didn't travel.

In Indiana, I think the year after we had conclave in Indianapolis, they got rid of smoking in restaurants. You just see restaurants still there. You just didn't have to eat your burger leg. We had lead in the paint.

And there was no reason to have lead in the paint. Like lead has been a bad idea for a long time. You know what I'm saying? Maybe just cap paint and we didn't fucking, we just go keep running it.

I already got lead in the Stanley Cup bookie. I never owned one, but that's crazy. Because there's no need to have lead in the Stanley Cup. That's the end of everything on the docket.

We don't live in shit. I mean, we'll come up with a sweetie. Oh, damn. We just let us.

You can't let the spirit move us every time, man. No, it's fun. I mean, it's not a big deal of super money. Like, I guess my point is, my perspective is I just thank the Super Bowl out of money.

I know that 5,000 is a, you're like a minor trainer. You're a minor trainer. Yeah, you're a minor trainer. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So I know you're a minor trainer. That's all I get from Christmas is I know shit because I think it just, you love it. It makes it easier. I get you some, some, a kutramal.

Like, cool with it. If your team is playing, he's going to reach out to you. Like, I won't even be thinking about that shit. I think it's like, that thing is going to reach out to you, bro.

And it's funny. It's funny because it definitely plays the thing. But, um, so, but, I think this thing, this thing, I did want to niggle bowl. I want to make a meal featuring niggabos, which was a bowl of colleagues.

Oh, the niggas. And cut up publics, chicken tenders. I want to feature a niggle bowl for a meal. I still might make niggabos.

I said we shouldn't make niggabos because it's not a niggle bowl, but it should just sound delicious to me. What do y'all plan to do? Do we think party's or? I have enjoyed the Super Bowl since I've pledged.

Oh, so. No, no, it's all like, I don't say I'm not going to say that shit fuck Super Bowl out for me. I just, it's all been downhill from there, man. I just, I just be the air for Super Bowl.

Cause the Super Bowl was so much fun. What are you playing? That everything else, I think, apparently. Exactly not what I was saying.

Definitely not was the most fun. The Violence Association. What? What?

You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, no. I mean, I just, Super Bowl, just another football game to me. Honestly, I just enjoy really the eating and just having people together.

I'm always happy just to have a reason that have people get together and just fellowship and kick in, eat some fucking wings and catch up. Half the time, I'm not even watching the fucking game. Hold on, I don't care. Eat some wings.

Wings, yeah. I didn't say that. And catch up, not wings and catch up, right? You were talking about no wings and catch up.

That sound gross. Wings and catch up is horrible. That sound gross. That sounds good.

What? You like wings and catch up? Probably wings and. Probably wings and.

You like wings and. I don't know it. That's a lot. I was expecting.

I was holding on the show right there. Yeah, I was talking about these four. Um, hold on. So, I knew this was going to be the Super Bowl because it's the Super Bowl that I didn't want.

I wanted it to be Detroit Baltimore like most niggas did, but I told everybody that because it's the Super Bowl that I want. The teams I want to go never go. Clearly because fucking patching my homes has been in it. I'm three out of that four.

I have many. It's not the teams that I want to go. Even if they're not my teams, it's not the ones I've been before. So, I know this is what happened.

I don't really don't care who wins this game. I got friends from Kansas City and from the Bay. Well, it's not Francisco. So, you know, either way, I don't speak with some people going to be sad.

But it's also the Sunday before Mardi Gras Tuesday, which is Boccas. We usually go out to this, the Boccas parade. They have this basically like a block party. So, maybe they'll have a screen out there.

I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to be out there actually watch the Super Bowl. Because commercials have been pretty trash. I used to really like the commercial, but they've been kind of stupid. And stuff like that.

When crack screen went from Man's share. I remember that was all right. Oh, no, they went to crack screen. What's that?

Why would it look like somebody get the remote and the Super commercial? Yeah. That was cool. I have been Mardi Gras so long, man.
