Cancer is a tumour in the body, a coalescence of mutated, malignant cells. But cancer is not the person. Someone diagnosed with cancer is more than just a sum of their symptoms or treatments, but an individual with unique concerns, needs and challenges. How does this change the way cancer care is provided?
