Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994) — "Every kid knows about Freddy. He's like Santa Claus or King Kong."

We near the end of Horrortober paying tribute to horror legend Wes Craven with his final entry in the story of Freddy Krueger: Wes Craven's New Nightmare. Heather Langenkamp plays herself, coerced by Craven and a demonic entity that has taken Freddy's form into playing Nancy Thompson one more time. It's a meta take on the classic franchise, and an interesting entry as well. We also speak with Matt Winston, son of special effects maven Stan Winston, who plays Chuck in the film. John Lein, Zach Wickwire, and Marc Hall join Chris Stachiw, the Doctor of Podcasting, to talk Wes Craven, Heather Langenkamp, Freddy Krueger, and so much more.
