Westbury residents welcome deployment of Tactical Response Team

SAfm — The community of Westbury in Johannesburg has welcome the deployment of the Tactical Response Team by Police Minister, Bheki Cele this morning. Cele says his members have identified at least 20 top priority criminals in that community. He addressed residents at the launch and reinforcement of the TRT which will help fight the scourge of drugs and gang-related violence. Cele also urged the community to assist the police in identifying alleged drug lords while promising to guarantee their safety through the witness protection programme.
