Western Sydney Airport opens cargo operations

Western Sydney International Airport has officially opened its state-of-the-art cargo facility, with the first Qantas AusPost freight flight scheduled to depart to Brisbane at 10:25pm. The facility will operate 24 hours a day, processing up to a quarter of a million tonnes of freight annually and providing a 33% boost to Sydney's cargo capacity.
