Westfjords Way Challenge, Day 0: Against all odds!

This week, Maghalie and David are racing at the Westfjords Way Challenge, in Iceland. The route is 960km long, and the race will happen over 4 stages of more or less 225-250km. Although they are used to be racing cyclocross races at the World Cup level, this will be the first time that both Maghalie and David do an ultra-endurance race. Throughout the event, we will share daily short episodes about our experience. We will also attempt to have a different participant of the race on each episode, to meet cool people and enforce the fact that a wide diversity of people can accomplish such a challenge.Today, we arrived in Iceland, purchased a bike, and against all odds made it to Isafjordur for the start!
