Wests Tigers Podcast 0006

from Wests Tigers Podcast · host Joel Helmes

Joel and Eddie are in Tiger Territory for the first time as they record Podcast Six at Wests Ashfield Leagues Club, as the season draws closer, being less than 8 weeks away.  In Part One the boys discuss the recent collapse of the Western Suburbs District Junior Rugby League and what it could mean for the Wests Tigers. What could have led to this situation? Have Wests Campbelltown withdrawn some support for Rugby League in the area? Has the Campbelltown area been neglected? What does this mean for our home ground situation in the future? They also discuss the fact the First Grade side will play only one trial game in 2019, and whether that is a positive or negative. Part Two is a bumper this week,  with an in-depth discussion on whether Tim Simona should be re-registered in the NRL, and whether the Tigers should be interested. Plus: Could a move to the centres for Benji Marshall work best for the team in 2019? What is their personal favourite team to beat each year? The boys also engage in a game of "More or Less" where the topics include: Would they like more or less games at big stadiums? Afternoon football? Is the bunker used too much in NRL? And are high scoring games a better spectacle than low scoring games?
