The Wests Tigers turned in a disappointing performance against the Knights in Newcastle today. Coming off the back of a mostly spirited and fairly well-polished performance against the Storm (at least for 50 minutes), the Tigers seemed a good chance of continuing their run of good performances at the Knight's home ground. But, after winning the toss and deciding to run into a strong breeze, the Wests Tigers were quickly down 12-nil. A 14-nil half-time score probably flattered the Tigers and despite a couple of breaks, the second-half was a pretty dismal affair. After the match, we went live on Wests Tigers Radio to give our initial impressions of the match. Garry Watson and Steve Stretton attended the game, while Declan McCutcheon, who took on the hosting duties in place of Eddie Otto, watched from the comfort of his living room.
