Jud Logan (July 19, 1959 – January 3, 2022) was a hammer thrower, highly decorated athlete and a 4 time Olympian. He competed in the 1984, 1988, 1992 and the 2000 Olympic Games. In 1987 he won gold in the Pan American Games. In the 1980's, as his strength began to stagnate, his East German friends advised him to push his box jumps. As his improved his box jumps, his throws began increasing. Box jumps are still a staple in Westside training to this day.
