from You Don’t Know Anything About Women: Dating Stories and Advice · host Roy Calvin | Dating Advice

Here's who I'm giving REAL dating advice for men to in this episode:- A guy who has been on 5 dates with a girl who has now told him she's going on a date with another guy.- A guy who got kicked to the curb after hooking up with an older woman (he brought wine to her house).- A post removed by Reddit mods from a guy who got herpes from his girlfriend.- An overthinking guy who doesn't like that his girlfriend told him he can "do whatever he wants" physically.- A guy wondering if he should keep seeing a girl he's really into or cut it off (isn't it obvious?).Subscribe for more Reddit dating stories, dating advice for men, and dating tips.Message me or support the show: https://linktr.ee/roycalvinDating lessons from this episode:If the woman you are dating says she is going on a date with another guy, move on. Even without an exclusivity talk, most men will not feel good hearing that a woman they have slept with and dated multiple times is seeing someone else. If she openly tells you this, it may be a sign to find a better woman instead of trying to rationalize it.Do not ask for exclusivity just because you feel threatened. Asking for the boyfriend-girlfriend talk or exclusivity talk can make things feel forced and needy. It is better to keep the dynamic natural, let actions speak, and avoid turning dating into a negotiation.Living far away can make dating harder if you are not available when she wants to see you. When you live two hours away and cannot meet, another man who is more convenient may win her attention. If you like a woman and want to keep things moving, you may need to make the trip, get a hotel, or find a way to see her.Stop overanalyzing whether a woman is scared of intimacy if she is already sleeping with you. If she is having sex with you, do not get stuck worrying about whether she avoids kissing, cuddling, or emotional closeness. Focus on what is actually happening instead of creating a story about her past.A one-night stand can feel brutal when you wanted more, but the decision may already be made. If a woman tells you it was only a one-night thing and removes you from social media, do not keep chasing her. Accept that it is over, forget about her, and understand that women can be just as harsh after sex as men are accused of being. When a woman invites you to her apartment early, understand that it may only be a one-night stand. Showing up at her place with wine, having sex, staying overnight, and then expecting a relationship can set you up for disappointment. Pay attention to the signals she gave before and after the date.If your girlfriend had herpes and did not tell you, find out what she actually knew before deciding what to do. It is fair to feel shocked, angry, or turned off, but the key question is whether she knowingly put you at risk or genuinely did not understand it could still be passed on. A one-year relationship should not automatically be thrown away without understanding the full picture.Do not ask a woman for permission before every physical move. Asking about physical affection and boundaries can kill the mood when the woman already likes you and tells you to do what you want. In most dating situations, the man should lead physically and trust that she will stop him if she does not want something. If she says “do whatever you want,” stop overthinking and make a move. A woman who is spending time with you, enjoying your company, and telling you to do what you want is giving you a good signal. Do not wait for her to initiate hugs, cuddling, kissing, or other physical affection. If she is not ready for a relationship but wants to keep seeing you, keep it casual. If you like her and the dates are going well, do not throw the situation away just because she does not want a label yet. Keep seeing her, keep the pressure low, and protect your feelings by dating other women too.
