On Wednesday & Thursday (Dec. 29-30), I hosted a two-part series called 𝑾𝒆’𝒗𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒕 𝑵𝒐𝒘! featuring some of the millennial leaders in our community making a difference every day. We’re talking religion, politics, non-profit and community service, entertainment, business, and other creative industries - to name a few. We’re diving into what keeps them up at night and what motivates them and their generation every day. Jayy Starr is a young maverick in the hip-hop world. She’s been making strides in the industry lending her gift of song to companies and individuals alike and can be found writing songs that can be heard on networks such as MLB, E!, AMC, TNT, NETFLIX, and more worldwide. Most recently, her song "Bad Girl" can be heard on Season 4 Episode 3 of Claws on TNT that aired the day after Christmas 2021. And let’s not forget about the incredible Legal Lens with Angela Reddock-Wright show jingle, which was also written & produced by Jayy! Nicole D. Vick, is an author, public health advocate, educator, community connector, and fashion and beauty maven. She’s leveraged her lived experience, academic training, and professional expertise to engage and inspire future leaders of public health in a variety of settings.
