Wez Clarke - Winning Grammys and Mixing Number One Records

from The Will Clarke Podcast

Podcast Overview: Wez and Will discuss Head Candy, stopping DJing, winning Grammys & the pressure to be in the studio everyday.Who Is Wez Clarke: It was the electro house sound of the early nineties that first lured Wez Clarke into the ever evolving world of dance music. After many a late night spent listening to local pirate radio stations that were his only source of this new music at the time, he was inspired to buy a set of cheap turntables and a mixer, and by the tender age of 12 had taught himself to mix. Wez soon ventured into the world of music production and has always viewed the two arts of DJing and Producing as one. Through hard work and talent, together with many, many hours spent behind the decks practising, Wez gained guest DJ spots at local venues and rapidly gained a reputation for his ability to get a crowd rocking. Clarke has mixed countless hit records over his career. His success spans the Pop, Dance and Urban worlds, having mixed records for the likes of Jess Glynne, Tinie Tempah, Cleanbandit, Naughty Boy, Mike Posner, Beyonce, MK, Gorgan City, Sam Smith, Rudimental, Ed Sheeran, Sean Paul, DJ Fresh, Example, Craig David, Wiley and J Hus to name just a few.Join for updates: https://laylo.com/willclarke⏲ Follow Will Clarke ⏱https://djwillclarke.com/https://open.spotify.com/artist/1OmOdgwIzub8DYPxQYbbbi?si=hEx8GCJAR3mhhhWd_iSuewhttps://www.instagram.com/djwillclarkehttps://www.facebook.com/willclarkedjhttps://twitter.com/djwillclarkehttps://www.tiktok.com/@djwillclarke Hosted on Acast.
