With migrant border crossings reaching 5 figures last week and US allies looking for more support as they fight wars, Tim Kaine is dismayed that Congress took a pass last week on voting for a supplemental aid package. More than a dozen neighbors in Lynchburg received flyers that contained disturbing images and racial sayings that include phrases such as “caution colored people” on their porches and cars. Roanoke Vice-Mayor Joe Cobb calls Mayor Sherman Lea Sr, who announced earlier this week he will not seek reelection next year to a third term, a "friend and mentor," over the past 5 years Cobb has been on City Council." A non-profit that helps connect expecting parents with resources released a survey that indicates those resources are becoming harder to find in the Commonwealth.
